I'm going to display my Falconer without the robot bird as well. It doesn't constantly hover above his shoulder in the movie and I think the figure looks better without it personally.

:exactly:
it is a little cheesy that the falcon stand is stuck right on the falconers shoulder area. Why couldn't hot toys just make a separate stand for the falcon? I know that the stand is see through, but still, it looks obvious that there is a long plastic stand sticking out of the Falconers shoulder-it looks kind of lame.

Thats kinda ridiculous I mean its called the "falconer" predator because it has a falcon. :dunno

I have a Celtic Predator. I don't display him with a shamrock.

Was kind of referring to CLU too. Boba Ben has the choice of displaying Falcon, which we all pretty much voted for months ago, and we're still supposed to have a one-way look to him? Aside from the fact that we can do whatever we want with the pieces we own.

I don't care how other people display their Predator figures either. It makes no difference to me and the only Falconer that matters to me is the one that will be in my collection. I was only stating that I personally prefer the way the figure looks without the bird as Thrifty had also stated after CLU had discredited it as not making sense.

I'm happy with whatever way other collectors decide to display their figures because they belong to them and they have the option to display their figures however they choose and do with them what makes them happy. I'm also glad that those that petitioned for the bird got that display option.

I'm pretty much with ya there Ben... but I'm reserving my final answer for when I have him in hand. I'm still disappointed in him being the first Predator NOT to have a face...:monkey4

:goodpost:
Some have mentioned that it maybe just better to keep the masks on some predators like the AVP, but it is the mere fact that we had the OPTION to take it off that made each past predator appealing. It's a little disappointing that the mask is not removable. Plus coupled with the fact that it's just a re-hash of the berserker body, I wish hot toys would lower the retail price on this guy.

I've really gotten used to the HT take of these Predators. Heads aren't as big as in the movie, and unless there was a good reason for making them smaller I don't think HT should have done so, but it doesn't ruin the figures. They look like real powerhouse aliens. Why am I more forgiving of the innaccuracies here than the 1979 Alien? Well because that film and its creature are more treasured ultimately, it was more important that HT do a better job on that one than they did IMO. Predators was an enjoyable film but it will never be 'important'.

That said these figures are just fine for me. I look forward to being able to display my entire collection from Predators together eventually - I'll combine HT and NECA in the display since each company has made something that the other hasn't/likely won't.

My falconer....

Nobody can say Falconers head is small.......

Nice pics Lotus, Thanks.

Whether or not you like the Falcon accessory, I don't see why you guys need to argue over it. First we started a petition to get it so that people could have more display choices, and you guys are now getting on eachother's cases about it?

:slap

Sweeeeeeeeeet. We now officially have 1/6 trophies of both P1 and P2. I gotta pair these puppies together when I get mine.

Now all we need is P3 super predator skull, wish HT they can add on coming classic or noland to be bonus accessory. :peace

Nobody can say Falconers head is small.......

No,is not...i beat you that, cos i own it..... :nana: :lol

Lotus, I was just playing with Chris because he said "nobody can say the head is too small." The head looks really well sized, and I like your photos.

I'm not sure if this would be a viable solution for you Eamon, but if you just pick one pose and display him that way on your shelf, you might be able to attach the falcon to the arm with a small spot of sticky tack.
