I think that's what bothers most Hardcore Joe fans. Though to be honest, I think these people are mostly Hot Toys fans more than anything.

Did the Hot Toys Luke Skywalker make people cry this much in that section? Last I checked, this was just a toy...it's incredible how emotional people get over these

I'd like to point out the Sideshow code "Newyear13" does work with this figure, bringing down the cost to $189.99 shipped. I'm happy with the price.

I could care less that Hot Toys is making GI Joe movie figures...I am just hoping Sideshow doesn't stop their ARAH line anytime soon.

and Even then,there is no comparison to me...Sideshow Joe is the better line...more figures,better costumes,more potential

Black Widow has a much simpler outfit. I just don't trust the Bane figure. Want in-hand pictures. This one should look pretty much the same from proto to production piece since there isn't a head sculpt to mess up. Plus the coupon brought it down to the same price as Snake Eyes.

I think the new years code can only be used once per customer. If you used it on Bane, that might be why.

Ok, point given to the outfit complexity but I'm sure an actor's likeness plays into the price of the ones with portraits (Widow, Renner, etc). So without a complicated likeness to get down right I'm just confused how this is more than Black Widow. He is the same price as Bane and clearly The Dark Knight Rises will overshadow this particular film.

I think my theory of Hot Toys anticipating that this movie won't produce as much revenue for them... so they are going to charge more to make up for it.

I'll get Storm Shadow to go a long with Snake Eyes, but it really depends how the others turn out.

I'm with everyone else... one villain? No Cobra Commander? No Firefly? Ugh.

Hopefully they'll consider firefly and cc somewhere down the line, i actually really like firefly's look; i like ray stevenson, i like leather jackets and i was never a big fan of firefly so they can put him a pink tutu and i woudn't care less, so sue me.

I gotcha. I guess since I started into this stuff late, I never knew the lower prices, so this doesn't seem terrible. The coupon made it a lot better though. I'm also wondering if they're producing less of him, if they don anticipate the license to be popular.

With HT announcing so many figures from the movie which is rare, there's at least a chance we may get more.

Just b/c thy announce that they're going to make more doesnt mean they actually will.

They were supposed to make Statham and Jet Li from Expendables. They announced those 2 after they officially revealed Stallone and we still haven't seen a glimpse of any other character besides Stallone from both the original and the sequel

I wouldn't keep my hopes up too high

Yeah I tried it on a sixth scale figure, then on a sixth scale environment and it didn't work on either. Weird.
