I'm really enjoying posing Tarkin he looks great. Although others mentioned the sleeves are a tad annoying and short, i also think the collar could've been higher round the neck.
Yeah be nice to see Dooku made by HT.

Now having Tarkin and having the RotJ Emperor on PO, it's making me toy with the idea of getting ESB Vader. Would be cool to have all the OT villains from each film as how I see the main antagonist in each film as being:

ANH: Tarkin
ESB: Vader
RotJ: Emperor

I'm refraining though because I really prefer to have only one Vader in my collection and ANH is my favorite look for him (prefer the robe over the chest armor look). However, the film where Vader is "Vader" is ESB.

Anyone dared to iron or steam Tarkin's suit yet?

Matrix? You stripped Tarkin down -- did you smooth the uniform in any way?

You could try the old trick of just turn the shower on hot, leave Tarkin on a stand(I'd remove hands, head and boots, maybe belt too...just in case) and just let him catch a steam for like ten minutes. Worked with my dress shirts whenever I was lazy.

You just brought me back 20 years to my early college days.

As long as you put it under a t-shirt or thin towel, the iron shouldn't do any damage. In fact it may not take much heating up at all to smooth out the wrinkles.

Yeah, but suede-like material can be tricky -- too much heat can create weird sheen in places.

Maybe I'll try the shower steam idea... even though taking that head out of the tight collar makes me nervous too.

I can vouch for this. Often steam the wrinkles out of my clothes this way at the hotel when I'm traveling for work.

I got a 10 day notice for my set a few days ago from Bbts. Still waiting for the charge

Creepily life-like... And I'm really digging the chair too... Definitely one of the best!!

Really not liking any of the raised-hands poses - partly the hands, partly the too-short sleeves. He looks best with arms behind or at his sides - posed that way he really looks like a living person.

Yeah would have been cool if they found a new way to hide pegs on a gloveless person

A great likeness, ruined by giant hands. Fitting smaller ones will help a lot. Here's one photoshopped with the hands at 90%.

For those wanting to get rid of the wrinkles from the uniform...steam them...pop off the head and boots etc...then hold the figure over a kettle or pan of boiling water

This sounds like a much better idea than filling an entire room with steam to remove the wrinkles. Probably would help to give the wrinkled areas a bit of a tug while steaming them.
