Personally I'd say that Piett's death in ROTJ erases the unused Veers death because I think it just gets a little too silly to have two battlefield commanders in separate battles killed by crashing Rebel fighters.

I think we saw Hobbie shot down in ESB, but his speeder just went down without taking any Imperials with it...

I'd say Wicket. Unless you don't count Lando as core. Then absolutely him next. And I still want HT to do ESB and ROTJ Han, Bespin Escape Leia and Endor Commando Leia. Lots of ROTJ aliens would make for awesome figures, ones still untouched by SSC like Ackbar, Nien Nunb, Squidhead, and so on.

Is The Empire Strikes Back novel cannon? Because in that book he dies from a speeder running into the cockpit area destroying it

I guess Admiral Piett would be a good one.

It's not. He suffered an unfortunate fate in the now non canon EU but his fate in the new canon is unknown.

I hope we get a Veers. That would be great. Would also like a Piett and Krennic.

That was Dak. Luke was always talking to Hobbie over the radio but you never see him.

I mean, honestly, I'm fine with ANH Luke, Han, Ben and Leia from HT.

I'm personally fine with these also. In fact, out of that list, I actually think Han is the second best ANH likeness, behind Leia. There's no denying the Jnix sculpt is nice, but I've personally just never found it appealing. Some photos the skin looks to shiny and waxy looking, other photos the expression just looks peculiar, etc. Personally, I see plenty ANH Ford in the HT sculpt.

Luke isn't a terrible likeness, but I do think it's the worst of the bunch myself.

If you allow RO to be canon and retro-actively evaluate ANH accordingly I kind of can't help but wonder if Coruscant would have been Tarkin's next target after Yavin. I like to think of him as would be king of the galaxy and you just know that he knew damn well that whoever controlled the DS had the entire galaxy in the palm of his hand. And Scarif showed that he wasn't afraid to use it. It always seemed kind of ominous how he was content to sit at that giant meeting table by himself in the latter scenes of ANH.

I could totally see him entertaining the idea of using the DS to take out the homeworld of the one individual who outranked him (assuming he could guarantee that Palpatine was planetside of course.)

Have you read (or even better listened to the Audible version) of Tarkin. Excellent back story to Tarkin. Really recommend it. Actually makes getting this figure even better imo.
