Decided to go with just the Tarkin solo figure. I'm happy enough with my current Vader.

$140 for Tarkin after RPs

It's a beautiful Vader... but as I already have the ANH Vader and the upgraded RO parts, I also went solo Tarkin.

Saving my points for something that's an upgrade... like Emperor. I don't mind paying for something totally new. Had a code though from a member.

A friend nabbed them for me from ebay for $34. I was lucky he didn't decide to resell them on ebay a few months later when the price went over $100.

Looks like you'll have another chance next year.

Yes. It is a bit steep. Hopefully reflective of an anticipated low edition size.

If it was cheaper I could have considered it but he's just not a big enough character in my mind to justify that kind of price.

Tarkin definitely was overlooked throughout the 90's in toys and comics, etc. So I get why some people never acquired a taste for him. Sort of the forgotten bad guy that only recently got resurrected because of his appearance at the end of ROTS... and of course Rogue One.

After 8 films, he remains one of the better villains though.

I remember that. The seller had 4 sets. My friend got two, and that morning you said you just got them so I figured you got set #3. I'm sure someone here got that 4th one. It was gone in seconds.

yes it was I`m working on getting another RO body to swap out for my ANH vader. the other RO body I turned it into an ESB/ROTJ version.
