When BBTS started accepting PayPal they became my go to store

SSC can choke on their NRDs

Also just switched to BBTS. Sideshow asked for some feedback recently and I told them to shove their NRD as I'll never shop there again.

BBTS for me as well. Sideshow's shipping is nutzo. That said, if they had frickin' released Ripley by now, I would've had more reward points to spend at Sideshow.

Oh, the irony...

So so want this, I've been a huge Cushing (and of course Star Wars) fan for many years but in the U.K. this is being priced at £230, pretty outrageous, I just can't pull the trigger on that, it's more than the Jedi Luke! Slightly tempted by the Vader 2-pack which is better value at £430 but would prefer an ESB/ROTJ Vader... first-world problems for sure but frustrating all the same!

£162 for Tarkin and £324 for the double pack at KG Hobby. I've put a deposit down for Jedi Luke from them.

Thanks - That's an excellent price but I'm not sure about pre-ordering something with them, especially something so far out - so it's just a deposit, you don't need to pay the full cost up-front?

I've only paid the 20% deposit, but they have a lot of UK buyers. In the Yoda thread someone received it with no problems recently.
This is the first time I've used them, if you're buying a few figures it makes a huge saving. I'll wait until Luke is released next year to see if they'll be my go to place for any further figures.

Yes, the Yoda guy was me! :^)
That's the first time I used them for a Hot Toys figure but arrived fine, was shipped very quickly as well (though the cheapest shipping option was £20). I'd only used them once previously for a Force Toys Stormtrooper, that was only £40 so pretty low risk, relatively speaking.

Dunno, I might need to grit my teeth on this one and see what the prices are like when this finally gets released...

Good for you, after the Jason debacle I told them the same.....I am using my points for Jedi Luke or Emporer....then bye bye SSC.

You all may be right on this edition size....less popular character with most people......over produced TFA stuff.....

I just wonder if they are trying to figure production sizes based off popularity or what DIS says they should do.

I think Old man Luke is the litmus test...if they over produce him.....then the formula will be all new SW figures will be over produced.....while OT figures will be normal production...

The question is....are the marketing this as an OT figure or a RO figure....

Let the debate begin......
If its an OT release... Its the best likeness they have done so far....including Jedi Luke.

HT should make BBTS there distributer.....

Very excited to get this guy, but man. That's a long wait. Happy to see the colors of his uniform look better then the prototype at SDCC. Hopefully that's what the final product will look like.

I love the his uniform but I wish the belt buckle was real metal. The painted plastic is alright but not 100% convincing.
