It's not a huge gripe for me but isn't Rocket a little too big for Groot in terms of height? XD Just a little.

They look pretty much the same. Maybe rocket is a tad bigger but imo still pretty close.

I think they cheated the sizes in that poster a bit? He doesn't look that small in the movie.

I think it's because Groot can change in size and in that particular shot he was larger than the prison line up scene

The extremely good looking Groot is only making the subpar Rocket look even worse. I would never get this as a set.

I like the faceplate idea with Groot. He really looks great. Definitely the winner of the two in this set.

Looking forward to this arriving, Groot steals the show but you can't really have one without the other I guess (which Hot Toys is well aware of) for the price Rocket should really have had a second sculpt and actually all though he looks ok in the new pictures I think I preferred his original look.

Maybe a entrepreneurial after market seller will produce a nice screaming sculpt further down the line.

There's supposedly less than 10 remaining of Groot according to SSC's facebook... don't know how accurate that is but what are people thinking about the final product? I won a Rocket a while back but I want the 2nd Groot head and potted Groot so I was thinking about getting the set and giving my spare Rocket to a friend. The Gamora articulation got me worried, and I'm still waiting on Drax reveal, but I don't wanna miss out on these two if they are indeed about to sell out...

Well the more stuff we get for Rocket in the from of customs and such the better.... maybe then he won't be such a sub-par figure

Thanks for posting those pics, Hologram. The last, in particular, is awesome. This is really an unnecessary set for me, so I've been tempted to cut it, but just such a fun pair to display.

I'm pretty happy with what we're getting but if they ever release a radically improved Rocket, I'll just break-up the set and sell this one at a discount, loose. Really want this version of Groot, though, and he won't display as well without Rocket (not getting any of the other GOTG).

Good thing I don't care for Star Wars like I used to. XD still love it to death but wouldn't care to get HT figs of them. Unless I won a lottery or something but I could totally live without them.

Nice pics. Do wish they went with two head sculpts for Rocket. One serene to match Groot's neutral expression and one roaring. The bared teeth look great when he's pointing the gun but less appropriate for any kind of chilling poses. But damn does Groot look fantastic!
