Just checked my account and was surprised to see it's shipped (did not get the usual "shipping soon" update). Should be here Tuesday. Really glad I stuck with the order and am looking forward to seeing them in-hand. Definitely one of my most anticipated figures/sets this year.

This is bothering me too. If you go on the waitlist for the exclusive it becomes available in less than 24 hours. I was guessing they are trying to push the single and regular 2-packs. It really sucks as I wanted to use my points on the exclusive. If they don't put it back available I will just purchase the regular 2-pack elsewhere.

I used to think that Sideshow waitlisted items early to prevent people from using coupons and points. Part of me still thinks that, but I think part of it is also international allocations (something I only learned about from the Star-Lord EX). They may only have so many units set aside for buyers in different countries, yet their website is accessible to every country. So rather than have some people in one country see a "waitlist" button while others see a "preorder" button, it's easier to have a single "waitlist" button and then manually convert waitlist orders if there is remaining stock in the customer's country. Those of us getting easy waitlist conversions are all in the US (I presume), so that just means that there are plenty of US-allocated units available for preorder.

At least, that's how I'm guessing it works.

Hmm, that's some great insight, skizzoid. Does make sense but can see how it also feeds the conspiracy theories. Between the two alternatives, I definitely think the country-allocation one makes the most sense.

So I missed diecast whiplash shipping because I wasn't in the first batch and now the groot and rocket set because I wasn't on flex pay ,I'm just batting a thousand today

Yep, mine was on flex w/final payment for today. Never got pushed back but never got a shipping soon e.mail or update of the status in my account. Was surprised to see it had shipped when I checked this evening.
