The Mark XLII, also known as the "Autonomous Prehensile Propulsion Suit", was the main armor used by Tony Stark in the movie Iron Man 3. It is regarded as one of the most advanced suits that Stark has created. Bringing this armor to life, Hot Toys is thrilled to present the Deluxe Version of 1/6th scale Iron Man Mark XLII (2.0) collectible figure which allows different modes of display.

Meticulously crafted based on the image of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark in Iron Man 3, the 1/6th scale Mark XLII (2.0) collectible figure stands about 32cm equipped with over 30 points of articulations. Features a newly developed battle damaged Tony Stark head sculpt, an interchangeable LED light up helmet, a specially applied metallic gold, red and silver colors on armor with heavy battle damaged effects, multiple battle damaged armors to recreate the intense look, LED light-up functions on eyes, arc reactor, repulsors that scattered throughout the armor. The figure also comes with a LED light up themed diorama figured stand.

The Deluxe Version provides extra display option by including an interchangeable heavy damaged right arm with armor’s mechanical details revealed, as well as multiple pieces of heavily battle-damaged armors.

A Special Edition available in selected markets will include an Iron Man helmet as bonus accessory.
This is sure to be a brilliant addition to your Hall of Armors collection. Make pre-order now!

Quite a surprise. Im sure the price will be sky-high like the III 2.0, but the side-by-side with the XLII 1.0 is really striking.

YES! Been hoping they'd remake this one for a while, but sort of figured they'd just do a straight re-release like the 43. That comparison pic really sells it.

Looks amazing and the price will be too, the size is too much for me though.. With the Mark VII size I made and exception for but knowing this and most likely all upcoming will be this new larger size means everything else is now out of proportion means I’m out.

Hot Toys, get out of my brain.

Iron Man 3 is one of my favorites and I’ve been waiting for a redo of Mk 42 with extra battle damage and full Stark portrait. What a pleasant surprise. Day 1 PO for me, no-brainer.

Now if we could just get a fully battle damaged diecast Mk 7, I’ll be all set.

Dang..you just threw my argument out the window.. I keep the III and LXII AND LXIII on different shelves.. I looked up the 3 version 2 and it say 32.5 cm and the original 43 says it’s 31cm.. I thought no way and actually got my figures out and low an behold. 3 really is that much bigger. I never really perceived it to be without the purposeful direct comparison.. I’m still out but now I’m a surprised and still out

i see where you coming from, but i try to pose my Iron Men, so the size issue isn't as prominent. Museum pose could be more of a problem i think.

Much as HT's continued obsession with Iron Man irks me, I must admit...this one has my attention. The different display methods plus the battle damage.

I do love Iron Man 3 so might pick this up eventually. Pretty dope. But yeah my MCU collecting has pretty much ended otherwise, besides a red Daredevil whenever that reveals and releases.

Awesome, been waiting for this 2.0. I’m sure a new 43 is right around the corner as well, and at this point I wouldn’t even rule out them doing a 2.0 Hulkbuster to fit their 2.0 Mk 43 inside lol.

Was the original mk42 shorter compared to the 43, 45, 46, etc?

Or is everything getting upsized and then we'll find the newest mk3 is on the short side again?
