The figure seems t have subtle blues on the lighter parts which is what I was wanting.

Which photos are u referring to? The production one (the photo on the previous page is a original production photo). Or the new Con pics? Which is the same proto they have been showing since day one. The difference in color is due to lighting mostly. This figure won't have any blue tint to it. It's designed to be visually reminiscent of American (NASA) space suits which are stark white with gold face shield. There's a reason they are white other then looks. It's so any one wearing it in space can easily be seen and tracked against the black inkeness of deep space. And the gold face shield is the best material to keep from going blind while not obstructing vision. The blue hue/tint from the production photos is due to soft light and a diffuser on any light source.

Sorry bud, but if u want it to be blue your going to be disappointed. And your missing the design choices. It would be like iron patriot being all black or all white or pastel or something other then usa flag colors.

we keep debating on how the proto had the correct paint effect on it and that we wish the mp version had it too, but
honestly do we really believe that proto was legit either? I mean what if it was all photo shop or special blue and
purple lights?

i ordered the same IM from king arts, 1:9 scale though, but its diecast.
price is just half of hot toys, looks great on the prototype!
because the pre-order from hot toys already stopped.

Anyone had any official word on exact release info for this guy yet?

As there have been no reviews, and none of the normal over seas eBay sellers have listed it or any parts for sale. So I just don't see him releasing here in usa next month. Which sucks. I've been waiting on this guy for a long while. Outside of the main armors (Mk 3,4,6,7,42) this is the one I most want.

OSR posted the updated release dates just recently (they usually do that soon after a figure is released, for this instance, Cap and Steve set). It says that HT Starboost will be out DECEMBER. I take it that the dates listed there are HK release dates.

I agree it seems unlikely this releases this month as scheduled. But it seems odd that sideshow has not pushed the date. My final flex is in a couple days. Usually they have this figured out weeks ahead of time.
