:hi5: Congrats on the purchase! :) You showed a lot more restraint and waited far longer than I did, that's for sure. When it comes to Iron Man, there is no resisting with me. :lol

I think I've caught your bug...not only am I ordering the new releases but I'm attempting to go back and grab ones I missed. It's a double dose of Ironman addiction. :lol

Yeah...I have kinda gone crazy in the last two months catching up on the IM releases. :lol I even bit the bullet and bought the two expensive Sideshow exclusive armors on eBay...Python and Midas. :horror Good thing PayPal Credit gives you six months to pay before charging interest. :rotfl

Sorry for giving you my expenditure-inducing Iron Man bug. :lol I'm pretty sure I picked up the bug from one of the other collectors who posted a picture of his 20+ Iron Man and Tony Stark figures a few months ago (I can't quite remember who it was).

No apologies necessary...my brother came over the other day and saw my growing collection and he's hooked now too. :lol So I passed that bug on myself...you just can help it. I'm going to have to track down Midas and Python too, after I find two others on my list. It's never ending. :rotfl

This really is a very contagious hobby. :lol

If you want my advice for Midas and Python (and Hot Rod, which is another one you don't want to forget about), I'd follow the searches for them on eBay so you'll get daily notifications about new postings. There's a nifty collector site that lists all of Hot Toys' Iron Man figures that have ever been made and estimates their current worth based on past eBay sales. I used this site to judge whether or not the price of each posted item was a good deal, and when a figure was posted at a decent price, I grabbed it. Hot Rod isn't too bad, especially for a diecast figure (repaint of Iron Patriot/War Machine Mark II, so that's why it's diecast), but Python and Midas...you might want to make sure you're sitting down when you read the estimated worth of those two, especially Midas. :horror

Here's the site I used: Iron Man Collectibles - Hot Toys Collectors Price Guide - CollectHT.com

I too started the Iron man collecting a tad late (2013). Had to track down armors 1-7 and midas. Just take your time during the search and try not to jump at the first price you see. I got all of my at retail or slightly above. And from there, I just made sure I didn't miss any new release. I have them all now except for the gun metal 3 and 4 and the war machines. I did eventually sell mks 35 and 36 (snapper and peacemaker). I shouldn't have no problems finding those 2 again under retail

I'm excited for this armor... I ordered it day 1... I love the color and circuit board designs/details... Might be my favorite movie armor figure since WM mk1.

Got mine yesterday, looks great! Weird part though, the inside of my box within the plastic clamshell layers was wet with condensation in spots. When I opened up the instructions and decals the paper had a damp feel to it too. No damage or warping from that that I can see, but very strange. The shipper and inner box had no signs of water inundation.

Interesting, can't really see any from the pics posted. Thought Peace Maker was the only one that had stickers. :dunno

The stickers go on the side of the parts at the magnetic joints, they add a metallic texture if you are displaying the parts in flying mode. If you don't display them like that the decals will probably wear if the parts are together, thus they are optional. They wouldn't be visible at all if the figure was intact.
