WOOOOOOOOOOOOTTT!
great pics man!

Mines on its way, I'm having it delivered to work since i know someone would be there to sign for it. and today I actually want to go to work. I will post pics in the next few days.

WTF! Mine has a scheduled deliver date of today, bit it's not "Out For Delivery" and the damn package has been in town for 2 days.

Woo! He's here! I love him so far. It just have one nit. Are the forearm missiles supposed to be backwards? They into the armor that way, but it seems like there should be a way to twist them around.

Edit: Nevermind. I'm stupid. I figured out how to do it.

Well mine just got here so I want to add in my thoughts, forgive if they've been mentioned. Overall its a good figure. The lights are nice and bright, joints are very tight, but it just seems SMALL. It doesn't feel like there would be a person inside the suit.. it feels more robotic. Overall I'd have to give it an 8 out of 10 because like I said.. small. I think I will enjoy the Mark I the most as that has an actual TT as the base.

Hi Everybody,

I just received mine from SS and the figure is awesome. My only gripe is the Hot Rod Red isn't bright as I want it to be. The prototype pics with the bright red looked awesome.

I guess I'll find out for myself tomorrow, but in hand in natural light does the color of the armor look more like the prototype pics or is it more of a maroon?

The paint changes colour under certain light conditions. It's kind of like the Scuderia Ferrari red paint which also changes colour under certain light conditions.

I've found at night when the lights are on, it becomes a somewhat comic red look to some degree. Under natural daylight it goes back to the movie red.

The only problems I see in regards to slimness is around the waist. I think the legs, arms, chest, and helmet are accurate enough size-wise to convincingly replicate the look of a person in an armored suit. But I do agree, the HT Iron Man could have been a bit thicker and a bit taller.

The HT Robocop had this same problem, it wasn't 100% the same size as the movie counterpart.

Yeah the promotional pics sure are misleading. Though I too wish the armor was a bit brighter (just a wee bit, not the extent of the official pics), I think what we got is the movie accurate color.

My advice, place it in an area where it can get some natural light. The armor color looks a bit different there. Just look at Averone's pics on the previous page.

Got mine in today. A lot more toy like in its feel from what I was expecting. I'm also finding it harder to appreciate other 1/6th paint jobs on human sculpts anymore after getting Enterbay's Jack Bauer. I never thought I'd see the day when a HT paint job just doesn't look that great to me anymore.

What? I always thought Enterbay paint jobs were a step above HT. They're still playing catch up. The only HT figure that I thought, paint-wise, equaled Enterbay was the BR Joker and even then it's not a fair comparison considering the clown make-up covering most of the skin.

Enterbay has nothing else out at the moment with the level realism they used for Jack though, but there other stuff is great as well, just not Jack great. None of their other figures have ever made me think negatively about a HT paint job.

Interesting. It will probably look more of the comic red in my display then.

I should have mine in 2 hours if it shows up. Never got an Out For Delivery message on my tracking page, but it says its on time with a scheduled delivery date of today.
