One issue, like Dave had said earlier about the light dimming due to possible residual power sucked from the battery, well on mine the right arm light does no fully turn off. There remains just a tiny tiny hint of light from the peg. Neck and left arm shut off fully, but I seems like the off switch for the right arm is not cutting total power??? SO I think mine will begin to dim fast too. If I jiggle the arm I can see the light change in intensity when it is off. Dont know of a way to fix it???

Anyone else have an issue like that?

Hmmm...I haven't run into a problem like that. The batteries for the chest/heart on my Iron Man were practically dead right out of the box (the heart faintly, VERY faintly lit up for a second and died).

Try replacing or removing the batteries. That's all I can suggest and don't know if it'll work. Hopefully it's not an issue with the switch.

He came! Such an awesome figure in person. He does feel fragile though and I'm a little hesitant to pose him. I wish the stand had said "Iron Man Mark III" instead of just "Mark III".

Hey Dally, the lights on you Mark III look like they're really bright! Do the eyes shine as bright as the palm repulsors? The photos on this thread can be misleading when it comes to showing how bright the lights are on this figure.

The light on my Mark III's eyes don't seem to be as bright as the hands. I wonder if it's supposed to be like that.

Mine are a little dimmer than the palms too. Also you can see something red inside mines head through his left eye. The camera can't pic it up, but I wonder if there is a way I can get it out.

All I have to say is be very careful trying to move him by the waist.
The armor going into his groin section popped out on mine and it looked like a shirt that wasn't tucked in. I had to get a flat object and pop it back into his groin area, now it's fine.
Oh yeah, my pain seems to look more maroon then red, any one else notice that? Maybe it's due to the fact I haven't looked at him under direct light?
:chew

I just got mine out did some very quick photos on my phone. I will post tomorrow as its getting late, but Mine as well looks much darker than I thought but in the photo's I took he came out very red and cool looking.
Not something that make me like the figure less, just an observation.

Some quick picks i linked on twitter.

seems like if you touch him with your hands alot he gets kinda dull:mad:

Euphemism? Nah, I don't think so. I'll continue then...

What are you doing to your figure?? Giving it an indian rug burn? well, what you said above is applicable to many collectibles and toys with painted gloss. Human fingers are covered with destructive oils, which can be harmful to a figure like this. But I don't think it's actually happening though, must be a trick of the mind. Well, your mind. My HT Robocop figure is still glossy and I've had him for about 2 years now.

Hold on, is the majority of this figure even painted? It seems that most of it is molded plastic. I'm sure if they even add gloss. Not sure.

Well its a figure.........I was taking pictures of it and posing it.........same like you do with your toys:lol

You buy a figure you touch it when you position it then it gets messed up lol:joy

Maybe I should buy those cotton white gloves.....or I prolly need to just stick to statues:rotfl

Okay you've already made that point in your previous post. I don't doubt that you're touching the figure when you're posing it, obviously. I just doubt that it's becoming dull so quickly.

How long have you owned it?
