Having bought IM and Hellboy in the last couple of weeks I'm not sure where there is to go from here. They are easily the two best figures I've ever owned.

Such a kickass figure! Finally got to open mine last night and he does not disappoint :rock

Easily in the top spot for 2009, the amount of work that went in to him is really staggering.

anyone know when comic book shops will be getting these in?

It depends on how good your comic shop is.
Do they carry items like this on a regular basis or is it strictly comics there?
My local shop called New England Comics use to carry a lot of figures but not so much now.
:chew

Sweet pics, all of 'em.

I'm pretty new to the 12" figure scene, and the Mark III was my first Hot Toys figure. I've checked out their website, and I know the Mark I and II are in production, but did HT ever say that an Iron Monger figure may be a possibility?

thanks, if you like those, check out the link in my sig, it's a thread of pics for most of the figures I own. and yea, hot toys teased about the monger a while back, but they never confirmed anything. and as of right now, it seems we're not going to get a monger.

Thanks for the replies, jnmx2000 and The Mike. Too bad no Monger for Tony to be posed with...but HT can easily rectify the situation. I may be jumping the gun, but here's to hoping that HT produces figures for Iron Man 2 and makes a hellacious Black Widow figure with an awesome likeness of Scarlett Johannsen...

hmmmmmm I always took what they said as they tried and if they couldn't do an accurate representation because of the size issue, they wouldn't produce one, but it doesn't matter now, it's not happening, we would have heard something by now if they were.

They carried the TDK figs when they were released in early January. I'm pretty sure they only get their stuff from previews but they're listed as a sideshow retailers so who knows!

After having watched the movie soon after receiving mine, I was surprised just how off the head proportions are on the figure. Both the helmet and Stark heads should be a little larger in proportion with the suit.
Minor flaw to an otherwise amazing figure. Wish I had a working camera to share photos.

Well considering the HT figure is overall a bit slimmer and smaller proportionately than the movie suit, I think the head on the figure is in keeping with those proportions. But if it is indeed too small, I don't notice.

Even if HT is reading this... that doesn't justify a remake. Yes, I know you never mentioned any DX or anything of the such. Even still, it's the perfect excuse for certain ones here to jump the bandwagon.
