After having watched the movie soon after receiving mine, I was surprised just how off the head proportions are on the figure. Both the helmet and Stark heads should be a little larger in proportion with the suit.
Minor flaw to an otherwise amazing figure. Wish I had a working camera to share photos.
That's a common flaw with several Hot Toys figures. Tiny heads, skinny torsos and legs.

Which figures are you thinking of? I think the Robocop figure had a thin midsection and smallish head, but I can't remember any HT figure that possessed all three shortcomings (tiny head, thin waist, skinny legs) aside from iron man, which I don't consider too slim in any area but the waist.

OK !! finnaly got arround to take pics of this MASTERPIECE !!
TOTALLY MOVIE ACCURATE!

This figure is just unreal. I Love how you can pose it so easy and the hands and head go on, come off so easy.

The detail work is just breathtaking. The light up feature and especially the chest RT looks unreal.
I had no problems at all getting the lights to work, simply removed the plastic tabs and PRESTO !!

This figure is so well engenierd. The moving flaps are so awsome and the missel launcher is very very well done.

The paint job is completly accurate to the live action suit.
darker red that changed a bit with different lighting.
The real life action suit was never red shinny like a finished painted car(only CGI suit) so they nailed the color to a T.

This is my favorite 12" figure right now.
It was a long wait but so worth it for the price and safe shipping that SIDESHOW has always provided for me.

Thanks SIDESHOW !!

well here are my pics.
enjoy !

HOT TOYS ROCKS !!
SIDESHOW ROCKS !!

WOW Dude. He looks great next to the bust. Very fine Iron man set up there. Congrats bro

So is the Stark head on the armor an accurate look? I can't remember seeing just his head w/o any armor around it?

It is but only with a BD suit. The same way the slider positioning wasn't part of the Mark 02 it was for the Mark 03, the Mark 02's faceplate was completely removable while in the assembly scene we saw that the Mark 03 was attached and slid downwards.

Also, I'm seeing a lot of pics with "giraffe" neck Iron Man with the TS sculpt on it, don't forget guys it pushes all the way down to give a more natural look, don't be afraid to push it down.

yea, the scene when they are trying to take the armor off and pots walks in on him and he says "let's face it, this isn't the worst thing you've caught me doing" lol

Dark Knight (new costume), all of their Predators except for the "original" one coming out this summer. Iron Man's legs are either too long or too skinny (from the front). As I mentioned earlier in this thread, when you put the Stark head on him and look at him standing up straight from the front, it appears he'd have to have barbie doll body proportions to actually fit in that suit.

Not that I don't still love him, of course ;)

Cool thanks... seemed odd w/o any helmet around him, but now I remember that part!

Oh I totally forgot about the Predator figures! You're absolutely right about those, but they're still badass for what they are.

Oh well, I'd rather have the figure a bit slim than a bit too fat (urm, TDK Batman).

I think the figure would need to be about a 1/2 inch to a full inch taller and a bit more bulk on the body to be a perfect 1/6 scale figure of the character from the movie, but I love this guy as he is! it's awesome, I'm wondering if hot toys will make a completely new figure for Iron man 2, giving him more size and better articulation, or if we'll just get a battle damaged variant of the MK III.
