Great pictures as always Chuck!!!

Just got mine today! I had to scramble and reorder it when DSC closed down, so that is why I'm so late to the game! Looks amazing and just as good as it did at SDCC last year!!!

Has anyone had any problems with the joints getting really loose on this guy? I'm mainly a cheap action figure collector, and I've just started moving into the world of high end collectibles, so I'm use to action figures getting loosed joints after playing with them for a while. I haven't had the problem yet with my HT IM, but I'm really concerned about it happening if I play with it too much. Has anyone run into this at all?

Haven't had a problem with mine. The joints are too tight IMO and wouldn't mind them becoming a little looser. I'm afraid of snapping off an arm or leg whenever I play around with him.

Not all the joints are of the same tightness on mine. shoulder, hip, and torso joints are almost too tight, especially the shoulder. Combine with the somewhat less durable feeling of the plastic used, I am not so confident about the long term durability on the shoulder joint.

Elbow, knees, and ankle are not so tight. Not loose, but not tight either. I do wish the knees and ankles were tighter. He can stand fine in a regular standing pose, but action poses would need the stand.

So all in all no loose joints yet.

mine arrived today from forbiddenplanet! very happy and i suppose worth the 9 month wait! not worth more than the £105 i paid for it so im glad i waited rather than pay £50 or more to get it a bit earlier like some peeps! looks great next to robocop v3!

I'm curious why it's not on their site. I haven't seen it in a long time.

They only have Mark 1 & 2.

it went up for preorder in august 08 and was removed in september due to to FP filling all their allocated spaces for the figure! im assuming they got bombarded with orders! i ordered mine on the first day it went up waay back in august!

Just got mine! I feel like im gonna break him everytime I touch him. His left hand LED light NEVER turns off! Mental! Had to take the batteries out!

Ah that explains it then. As I never got around to ordering Iron Man from Hong Kong until after the first week in September.

Just purchased myself one of these yeserday - payed a bit over the odds, but that's what you get for buying in FP in the UK.

What I LOVE about this figure is that my wife likes him!! my first "super hero" collectable, so I reckon i may well be trading in/selling my HT Preds and Aliens to stock up on some more wife friendly collectables.

Agreed, He does feel quite fragile. I would hate to break this.:(

Hey,you know it s one year now since Hot Toys first announced this!!Happy birthday to this thread and it s great everyones received and are enjoying theirs.

Does anyone have a reliable email for Hot toys? I have a defective part in my figure and want to contact them, I have tried twice using their website and I get no answer.
Thanks!

Ya never do. It's called World's Best Practice.

Seriously though, all you can do is keep trying. One they are slow, two you'll get an almost automated response. They'll likely tell you to go through the person you bought it from, if you haven't already, and after that they might look at your problem more closely. Good luck.

Kay, I caved and placed a Wait List for Mk3 yesterday on SS's site, cuz I couldn't find it in stock anywhere else. And now, mine will convert on Saturday!! I pray that some site will get some in stock tomorrow for less than Sideshow's price. AGH!!

Can't let people forget about this guy
