I'm beginning to wonder about the battery life on this figure.

I got my Mark II today and I posed him with my Mark III (which I received 1 week ago). I turned on all lights on each figure and noticed that the lights on the Mark II were considerably brighter than the lights on the Mark III.

Now, to make sure there wasn't a LED discrepancy between the two figures, I switched the Mark II batteries with the batteries inside the week old Mark III. Result? The Mark III's lights were now brighter, so that means during the week I owned the Mark III, the batteries had drained enough to reduce the brightness of the led lights. I don't leave the lights on all day, I leave them off most of the time, though in my excitement I usually turned them on at least once a day for an hour or so at a time.

I'm worried these batteries will dry out quickly and require replacement sooner than anticipated.

Could anyone possibly post a photo of the two figures with the head and hands swapped? i.e mark 2 hands on the mark 3 body. mark 2 head on the mark 3 body and then the other way around...just to see how silver head and hands would look on the red/gold body? cheers bebs

Got mine last week... such a great figure. Easily figure of the year, maybe best 1/6 of all time. Either way, very happy with him.

Yeah, that's a very minimalist desk/ work space you have there, Spanbauer. It's totally keeping with the Apple/Mac aesthetic. :D

I can perfectly understand your excitement. It IS a great figure. Personally I find it hard to choose it as my favorite, since there's quite some competition. Regardless of my preference towards a certain licence and when the figure was released, the HT T-800, HT Dallas & Kain, Medicom Raiden, HT Clubber Lang Southside Slugger Edition, HT RoboCop V1, some of the HT Aliens, the RAH Alien, ... there are so many rock hard figures in my collection. And, think of the ones where're still about to see this year: HT T-600, HT T-700, HT John Connor, HT IM Mark II, HT Predator 1 Schaefer, so many great figures!

lol, I moved just a few months ago so I took the opportunity to try and maintain a clutter-free desk; we'll see how long it lasts. I actually cleared some things off when I took that picture (like the mouse and mousepad) so it's not quite that clean.
