You can turn the waist, but not the mid-chest joint (or ribs, as you put it).

When trying to move the waist joint, be careful, it's a tight joint and I don't know how limited the articulation is.

Finally got some time for more pic's. Two of my Favs.

The last one has IM on the ply wood base I painted to be like the floor in the shop.

HT with the Koto statue.

Rare that a figure actually looks better than a statue, but with Iron Man the Hot Toy's version looks much more realistic than the Koto statue.

Yeah, after all the disparagement around how Hot Toys was too skinny. Sorta makes it look like every manufacturer got it wrong.

Nice comparison pic Dave.

Are they standing side by side? The Koto Iron Man looks like it's farther into the background than the HT figure. They're both 1/6, but the Koto looks smaller.

My gaze falls onto the skinny fingers on the Koto statue.

Yep, right next to each other. The Koto is much smaller.

I got mine today paid $259 I love it, totally awesome.
The only thing is that it is extremely fragile

I don't feel this is to fragile. mine dropped to the floor about 4 feet and he's fine. I can't wait to see what we'll get next year with iron man 2.

why does all the suits in the BG have their chest light lit up? I thought it was Tony's arc reactor that does that when he wears the suit?

upgrade the suit maybe each suit has it's own reactor so that tony didn't waste his or perhaps just an archive. oh, yeah and the display on the translucent screen show the layout of the formula one track in monaco

Obadia Stone recovered the Mark I to reverse engineer it. Remember when Iron Monger first shows up , the camera is looking at Mark I, then Mongers eyes light up behind it

Yup...I guess Tony does get a touch nostalgic after all :)
