pic request - does anybody have a pic of the HT Iron Man next to the Comiquette? I'm just trying to get an idea of how big the comiquette is next to a HT one.

Finally got around to taking some pics of this truly awesome figure!

The Robert Downey Jr likeness is spot on!

Yeah! Just recieved mine and its one of the most impressive 1:6 figures I've ever seen. Cant wait to take some pics!

I did a quick search but couldn't find the answers to my 2 questions:

1.) What type of battery does this take? - the head/chest light is already starting to dim less than 24hrs after I've opened it

2.) How do you deploy the wrist rockets correctly?

Sorry I know these questions have already been answered numerous times...

does anybody know if the tony stark head fits the agent orange body? has anybody tried it? i'm still waiting for my mark III and and II

Just re-posting this image from another member as its helpful re: batteries and forearm missles

In that photo it says that AG9 batteries are used for the head chest light... i found these on eBay which are stated as L936 batteries but can be used to replace AG9... is that right? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Those are okay, but why go through all the hassle of ebay, if you have a radio shack near you, you should be able to get the right batteries there.

Probably will do that but I was just doing a bit of research into it, as I know sod all about watch batteries. Of course i could just saunter into the shop, pull out the 12 incher and say 'what have you got that can make this light up?'

I'm talking about the HT mk3 Iron Man figure of course...

Had mine a while now. I thought I would add a some photo's to this thread a couple months late.

I just wanted to make a heads up in the Iron Man threads- I have an extra Mark III Iron Man that had a defective vinyl midsection. I'm seriously considering dismantling him and parting him out to sell. If you have a defective or broken part that needs replacing, I may be able to help you. If I do part him out, I plan to keep the right forearm, one of the "boots", and his chest light- That's not to say I couldn't take it apart and sell chest armor pieces, etc if someone needs it to replace a broken or scratched part. The Tony Stark head would be available as well. Please IM me if you have interest, and I apologize for acting "for sale-ish" on this thread, but it seems like Iron Man Land is the best place to post this intel. There is one thing I would be willing to trade for instead of sell outright, and that's the "slicked back" hair head from Bank Robber joker.
Thanks! Drizz

well hot damn, tylers pics are awesome, your photos make the figure look quite reflective, maybe it's just mine, but mine doesn't look like it's that shiny, and you must have a hell of a light set up, cuz that lighting kicks ***.

as simple as those photos are, they might be the best yet.

Thanks for the compliments guys.

Thank you. It does look shiny because I rubbed it over with a lint free cloth before photographing. Handling it does leave marks that show up in photos.

My lighting set up is simply a livingroom light and a flash with directional head. I mostly aim the flash at the ceiling which helps create a few shadows which I like.

Thanks. My camera is ancient really. It is a Canon EOS D30 DLSR. It is only 3megapixel. I use a directional flash Speedlite 5503X, this a few years old as well. The lens is a Canon 100mm-300mm zoom lens that I got for my 21st way back in 1994. I used the zoom lens as I don't have a macro lens. I find that it can catch a lot of detail (like a macro) if zoomed in and I photograph from other side of house. Also I use timed delay on shutter to help prevent camera shake.

I'm no pro. I don't really understand things like f numbers etc, but if you save the photo on your PC and look at the properties/summary/advanced you will be able to see all the information you need if you understand what you are reading.

Once again. Thanks for the compliments.
