I just got some news that the prototype IR0NMAN figs are being feverishly worked on as we speak and there should be some early pics at the end of this month!!!

I have no question that these things will masterpieces because Hot Toys is at the helm but I'm slightly worried about price.

^^^^ the price, to me Hot Toys has NEVER made anything overpriced. With their engineering, design and attention to detail, it makes their stuff worth it to me.

Yeah,but I want to get a couple of them. That's a PF and more man! And I have like $4K worth of ^^^^ on my list at SSC. I guess some things will have to be canceled eventually.

I can almost guarantee they won't be more than the Briareos Appleseed figure. Those were in the $179-199 area, not bad for the amount of detail and accessories. Iron Man won't need or have many accessories so hopefully it'll be a bit cheaper, I also want two.

This is a good point, there isn't much doubt that SSC will carry these but will they have an exclusive? If so, will they offer them at the same time as everyone else. I usually go to Toys2 for all my HT purchases but waited on Wolf Cleaner because of the hype in the NL about him and knowing that they do exclusives. The thing is that at some times SSC offers them later than ADs.....then the question is do you want them first or with the added bonus???

I tend to agree. Still, let's hope they don't make IM any more than $150. Wile well worth every dime, it all adds up... they just have to much cool licences!! Would be a shame to have to choose between them, right?

HT definitely has a choke hold on the 1/6 market.....The announcement of IM has made me walk out of the Predator line and the announcement of TDK has made me look past the POTC line. The picking and choosing is getting bad...

The Batman picture are leaking though, they look ridiculously awesome! Can't wait for Iron-Man, I hope there is a RDjr head for it. That better be standard! with Mk 1, 2 & 3! I'd get all 3 for sure.

They have? Where? The only one I've seen is the Terrence Howard head on a Military figure.

Not visually but someone posted somewhere in here that you'd be able to see his alter ego or something along those lines. Most likely an RDJ head that swaps out with the Iron Man Helmet.

Ah, I see. That would be cool, but I'd also like to see the helmet open up and see his face inside.
