are you blind? look at the ring that is bent upwards instead of clamping around it's waist...

Picture003-1.jpg

I took this picture several months ago.. I don't even have this batman figure anymore..

I'm sure they saw that pic and copied it. Ask for royalties.:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl:rotfl

Again, my point isn't that the figure isn't any better Hasbro's -- I have a LOT of faith in Hot Toys. I'm sure it will rock. I'm just saying that in my opinion it's too early to be having orgasms about this figure based on this one picture.

I had the same thoughts when I saw the picture. first thing that came to my mind was, is that the hasbro ironman? then I saw the additional HS and hands and figure I'll wait and see how additional pictures would make this figure more exciting. kinda give HT the benefit of doubt that the product is much better than this picture.

Just noticed the picture by the figure has the chest and palms lit-up.The eyes may well be as well, unfortunately we ca nt see those...

It looks great, but I'm not too sure on the proportions... it looks like a robot rather than a man in a slim iron suit.

I'm still gonna get it though.

I think the suit does look too slim in that picture. I am not sold on it from that pic.

The legs, heck the overall armor should definitely be thicker. Need a better shot than the one that is presented to us.

yeah, he does look that way, does anyone know if this is an armor suit over a body or just a new sculpt like HT's robocop?

I would say it's a Robocop setup. No body underneath. What would be the point? Plus it's too thin to go that route, and wouldn't be as cost effective for them or us, the consumer.

well, because its 1/6. :D if there is no body under the armor, then its pretty much just like the hasbor version except with better details and articulation.

Looks great! But something seems off, could just be that image. Hot Toys has to show their official images soon....plus a pre-order would follow shortly thereafter. Unless HT has SS debut the figure instead.

Nice link theokou, but we need them pics in the thread to stop the tirade of are we there yet kidlets.

I dont care if its 300 $ I'll buy everything Marvel by Hot toys...I just hope they wont make too many f'n variant of the same figure. And please no cheap plastic Hot Toys.

Hot Toys RULZ!!! I love this Iron Man!

Notice the "Mark 3" on his tab? I'm sure Hot Toys will be doing the other suits as well! Even Iron Monger!!!

I don't know how you can say Hasbro's and this are the same and actually mean it. Hasbros is pretty good for a mass produced piece but this thing looks to be on a playing field all its own.

Did you end up getting Cannibal Jack? I remember you saying that you were ordering him. btw In hand, he's the best 1/6 main stream figure to date. So after two home run Hot Toys pieces in my collection, Jack and the Endo, I think I am on the same boat. Hot Toys and Marvel = Purchase pretty much everything they release.

The fact they did display him as "Mark 3" vs. Iron Man means they will come out with the other versions, and the Monger.
