Batman (89) was always going to be a seller simply because it's Batman. The character has enough of a built in fanbase that a lot of people will buy it simply because they love the comics/characters.

It isn't that I dislike Robocop or anything and I do think he's an iconic character as much as Terminator or Predator. What I should have said before is I just think it seems like something that's a bit more up in the air when asking such large amounts for those two figures personally. Asking anywhere from $300 to $430 just seems steep for anything to me. I would have possibly considered a Robocop if it wasn't $300 but at that price I think I'll likely pass.

I can definitely see where you're coming from there. $300 is pretty crazy. Thank God none of the licenses I collect have any room for die cast.

Yeah to me diecast seems like a stupid gimmick so they can try and sell these figures for even more ridiculous prices than they currently charge. The only series I collect that may get a diecast and I'd probably buy it is Terminator. Since I'm thinking if they make a new Endoskeleton it'll probably be part of the diecast series.

I'm as excited for Superman as the next guy (you know what, **** it, I'm MORE excited than the next guy), but I don't see why people have to do this. It's a classic license with what appear to be some great new figures, I don't see how that's going to flop? There are a lot of fans who have been waiting a long time for that, and I'm glad for them.

Let me clarify: I have nothing whatever against Robocop, and I enjoyed the original movie. What I question are certain aspects of the remake. The fact that it includes stuff like the titular character having a HUMAN hand at the end of a ROBOTIC arm makes me really question some of the decisionmaking that went into the film: if they are screwing up on simple things like that, can anything good be coming along later?

I guess we will soon find out.

Is Robocop getting HT attention? Cool; at least its not MORE IRON MAN. But why does this film deserve that, and Superman cant even get a full reveal for ONE FIGURE. That's crap.

After seeing the SS MoS PF sneak peek and how the fabric on it doesn't look screen printed, I'm thinking that this is going to be straight up fabric as well.

Hopefully that's the case, so that I can do some decent poses.

I think they're trying to hold off until the movie comes out. I'm hoping to see it sometime next week, but my gut feeling is the Wednesday or Thursday before Man of Steel opens. The fact that the Robocop announcements where not numerically in order I think indicates that they are holding off MOS.
