We've known about these for a while. Superman also appeals to a lot more people than an Xavier figure from First class. There's a reason HT haven't shown that figure.:lol

I think HT didn't rush into production on MoS figures yet because no one knew if it was going to be another Green Lantern. I think its safe to say at this point it won't, but general reception is what will determine how many figures we get from this line.

I'm expecting Superman no earlier than end of Q1 2014.

That'd be about standard release time. The earliest Dark Knight Rises figures took 'til Q1 2013 ... and they had no doubts at all about that movie. Catwoman still pending. Possible others.

Have a picture of all of that put together? How did the DCD suit look on the DX10 body? I thought the DCD SR suit was pretty big. I remember the figure looking pretty good quality ... but almost like a caricature in some of the proportions.

I posted a pic above. Still looking for decent Routh boots that don't cost $75...
The DCD suits are elasticated, and made smaller than the bigger bodies, so all i did was stick the suit in a cup of boiling water for ten minutes then dry it off. It shrunk it down a bit.
I suppose if i am being a little nit-picky, the S is just slightly too large. But more like the Reeve S.

I definitely think this is a factor. That and the HK release date is the 27th. Green Lantern was unintentionally hilarious. I saw it because I was curious but the trailers and promotions leading up to it come off as kinda cheesy.
All the Mos footage makes it come off as being one of the best of the year.

If WB are serious about the Green Lantern character, they'll start fresh - either by a complete re-do, or by tying him into a team film.

There were some redeemable things about the film though - Reynolds or Lively, not being examples. :lol

I honestly wasn't sure that I would continue buying Hot Toys. I have 3 Avengers and 2 Alice's. I recently sold my Jack Sparrow to fund a 3rd Alice. Anyways, this has me thinking quite differently. I may just have to be a bit more selective but I think if I skip this, I will be very saddened. So, +1 for Buffy.

Shhh, you will bring it in here. That guy who absolutely flips out with angst every time someone mentions HT 1st Class Xavier, and then he starts wailing and moaning about no HT Magneto *sob!* and then he starts getting all man-crushy on Fassbender. Summon it not!

Oh, get in here. We are all doomed, we'll all be broke. Join the crowd. :wink1:

A Green Lantern movie is simple. Here are the 5 Steps:

1)This should be Star Wars meets Training Day
2)Get rid of Reynolds
3)Practical Costume and Mask
4)Use simpler villain(maybe the Manhunters or Atrocitus) Parallax is complicated and needed way more set up.
5)After Hal gets the ring from Abin Sur no more Earth stuff.

Bonus Tip: avoid the names Orci, Kurtzman, Lindeloff. Get someone with a love of Sci-fi to write this.

:goodpost: Faora is all i need from this movie......(i'll probably buy superman for the heck of it) but Faora is a must have. i love the rooted hair on the girls (all mine have came with great hair...so far...) but i agree that Faora needs/will have sculpted. another reason for this would be her helmet thingy i guess........

Seriously, we deserve to know. If we have to wait for pix, I can wait but a yea or a nay would be nice.

I am starting to think we are only going to get Supes and Jor-El from this movie, and that wont be cool. 'Cause if we don't get Faora, I am gonna die a little inside. I really want Zod, but I want Faora just as much if not more.

Im 100% positive they will make Zod. He is going to be one of the most talked about villains in comic book movie history. Shannon will be amazing and will have a big fan following. They will make Zod, im sure. :)

We will figure a way to bring MoS into the Buffy household :)

You know, they might be waiting for SDCC. It sounds like they are planning a epic booth for the show this year. I think we will see a lot of D.C. product revealed there. Batman 1966, Arkham Asylum Batman and Batman Returns. Sucks if we have to wait until then for Superman though.

We won't. It can be revealed beforehand, and they'll still, most likely, have it at SDCC. I really think they're just trying to wait for the movie to hit. I'm honestly surprised they've held out this long.

:exactly: HT knows that figures from newer movie licenses like Man of Steel/ Iron Man 3 etc. sell better if shown while there is still a ton of hype. No one would give a **** about these figures if they show them a few months from now. (other than the hardcore Superman fans)

Every time I see your sig it, it reminds me of how much I want a Drive figure. It hurts me every time because I know it'll never happen.:monkey2

Just read my first review of the movie and it was a glowing one. Can't wait to see it. Makes me feel so much better about the figures too. :yess:
