Very seriously doubt that the helmet will mechanically open to reveal Stark. Hope there will be a seperate head that is partially open, but I doubt that, too.

On a side note, how in the world does the suit come off? Does Stark need a machine remove it, i.e. the other armors? It seems unlikely that removal would just be the reverse of putting it on. Especially since a hard 'pull' is required to get the arms apart and start the automatic process. I imagine that it's truly an emergency armor without flight capability. Geek out.

Fantastic!!! Maybe preorder start tonight? If yes that will be so freaking cool.. LOL.

Doesn't look like the silver parts are reflective.... the one thing that would have sold me on it.

With light-up eyes... impossible

No ..it's not impossible, look at the mark VI it has one head that works as both the light up head and the face reveal head, but that said i really don't think this figure will get anything like that.

No it doesnt. Mark vi has two separate heads - one light up and one with the head inside.

Yep, All Iron Man eyes light from the neck post. You can't make that work through a sculpted figures eyes. Two seperate heads will always be necassary.

O my mistake i mixed up there ....but the way the light up head works on the vi is that the faceplate can be removed and replaced with a damaged one ..the same thing could work on the m5 but instead you could take out the face inside to reveal the light and then stick back on the faceplate, but like i said it can be done but i don't think it will happen.

I hope it comes with a tony stark headsculpt and racing suit and sells for $250 so the idiot has to eat the loss.

Not sure if this was posted earlier in the thread but something tells me that all those who skipped out on Whiplash will be going back to grab him now! :wink1:

I can see that happening. I made a comment earlier in the thread about wanting to pose him next to my Whiplash. I think someone else said the same thing. I think once he's released and we start seeing pictures of them posed together, there's a chance Whiplash sales could increase.

I like the analogy. Makes sense. I am curious with all the likeness and accessories why doesn't he sell well? I am bad at deciding where to invest my money on :(

It's one of the most detailed figures they have ever made imo ..i hope it becomes as rare as the m1 ,it deserves to be.
