I dont really care, I see these as a single separate entity and they do not all have to be proportionate to one another.
How about proportionate to itself? Is it too much to ask that the lower body and upper body look like they belong to the same figure? ;)

People always complain. :lol

We'll see.

QFT:lecture

Like my family or my upcoming child/ren I will do what I can to help them to become the best they can but I will love them nonetheless and overlook their shortcomings .... live happily ever after :thud:

As long as they stay in proportion with the rest of the line, of course!

so that goes that if the mark V is proportionate (that being slim, and movie accurate but fat for the HT mark 2 and 3 counterparts) like the mech test, people wont complain right? since you did mentioned its the mark 2 and 3 thats too skinny.

Right. But as Devil mentioned and I agreed, it's like Sophie's Choice, no matter how HT goes about producing this Mark V, not everyone is going to be happy, and it all started with their previous IM figures.

These are labelled as 1/6 scale. so slightly off proportions is still acceptable, IMO. As far as the general fans is concerned. As I know we can be quite a nit picking bunch here sometimes :lol

e.g. alien big chaps's jaw. Im an average fan, so Im not really sure whats off there. I mean it looks like alien to me, but for the hardcore fans, the sculpt is definitely off.

or mark 3 BD's calf part, thats so ridiculously slim that itd be impossible for a human being's leg to fit inside there. But I try to not let that bother me in enjoying the figure.

and another one would be the bulkiness of the v1 TDK. He looks a bit fatter than the screen counterpart, but its still passable IMO.

But if they give a 1/6 scale predator of mark V and a 1/6 scale of female TT for the mark IV then thats just downright ridiculous.

Actually, all of those figures you mentioned above? I didn't buy any of them because I thought they weren't good enough. I'm sorry, but at $150-$200 a pop, no one should come into this hobby as a casual fan.

I guess that's one way to think of a business. That's a bit too meta for me.

oopsy sorry
what I meant is I will take them as they are and make them the best they can be with mods, poses and fuzzing and in the end I will enjoy them as they are ;)

Here's a Hi-Res pic (without the weird coloring like the Hi-Res pics realpic posted):

Also here's some pics of the CGI suit (and I'm not sure if that's a Maquette on the far right or not!?):

Yeah see, the abdomen area is all wrong... or right but lacking the right detail. I really hope they make the abdomen wider as well. The rest of the figure is almost perfect proportionally, it's just the abdomen that's wrong.

also the chin has those two tiny slots? not sure what those are for:dunno

The head is totally unfinished. The neck too. The more I look at it, it is really just an unfinished clay maquete. Pretty far from being finished. There's a lot of areas of very low detail or lumpy clay.

Looks cool...but $150-180 per figure is getting kind of tough.

^^Well seeing as you won't be able to buy it until it's finished anyway, kinda makes things easy for you mate

Do you think this will release for preorder this year? This is one of my favorite Iron Man Suits.

For a moment I thought there are new updates. :gah:

I don't mind waiting longer, hate it when products are rushed and quality is compromised. Take your time HT.
