Im actually really in the mood for this figure at the moment. In the last 5 minutes ive just contacted mei ling on the codec and got her to save the game whilst im mid-interrogation by Ocelot on MGS1. I really want a Snake figure. And as they dont seem to be coming thick and fast i think id better pick up this one on the off chance its the ONLY one. I do love MGS3 most, but its not the iconic " snake " look to me. But that aside i dont mind the look as i love the franchise in general. Its big boss, he is a snake, its a HT & im on board.

I'm surprised he actually has both that and the MK22. I would think he would only get the M1911 but they made him pretty accessory heavy thank god.

I actually totally forgot he comes with both, even better.

To your point about accessory-heavy, I love it that I was able to pre-order this figure much cheaper than Bane & Catwoman (who had very few accessories).

I really hope HT gives us at least 2 more Big Boss camo varients before they move on to another game. As much as I love MGS 3 I really want HT to move on to MGS1 characters, Snake,Mantis,Raven,Grey Fox and Ocelot,so much potential there. They can skip MGS 2 and then give me a little MKII from MGS4 and Ill be happy.

No chance, MGS2 had some of the nest character designs of the series.

We know they'll make Snakes from MGS1 and 2 but what accesories will he get?
MGS1 at least Socom and Famas are 100%
MGS2 M4 and....?

I hear ya, I'm very surprised not a single company has released a MGS2 version of Solid Snake. That seems to be his known definitive look.

Seems to be their S.O.P, aquire a fantastic license with lots of fans and potential for fantastic products then wait ages, make as little as possible before going back to suck on Iron Man's udders.

More figures are definetly coming. I read that some HotToys staff are Metal Gear fans. If they discontinued the series after the character versions no one asked for it would be a serious mistep

I think it all depends how well Snake and The Boss sell. If the sales are good, they'll make more figures - if not, the line will go the way of Assassin's Creed Ezio. I just hope enough people in Asia buy The Boss
