If they are still doing modifications on Marcus than we have to wait a little longer till pic's come out of the finished version. I think the headsculpt is not bad, but it could be still a little bit better. I think it should look more baby like, Sam Worthington face looks softer more babylike^^.

But anyway, I am really really exited on him!

Really?! I think he looks more rugged than 'baby-like'.......oh well, modifications hopefully mean it's only gonna get better!

I think you don't understand me. Sam Worthing face doesn't look soo hard like the one of this figure just take a good look at the pic's.

Just compare the faces.

Do you see the differences, the face of the figure looks more russian like than a face of Australian Actor.

Oh, I understand you. I see the differences, just maybe 'baby-like' wasn't the best way to describe Sam Worthington's face? I agree, HT will probably re-work the face, but atm, it's much of a muchness really...........

I thought his face sculpt was really good to begin with, although after seeing the movie and more pictures of Sam Worthington I have to agree it's not 100% likeness.
So let's see how Hot Toys improves this sculpt!

Its the John Connor figure I'm not convinced needed any redoing. I thought it was as close as it could possibly get.

Marcus though was a definite case of back to the drawing board IMO. What they did is beautiful but it just doesn't look much like the actor.

Marcus is created by Cyberdyne Systems before it was sold to the Military. Marcus donates his body to CS where Bonham Carter was a doctor and head of the project.
The project eventually falls into the hands of Skynet, which helps advance its research in developing the first generation cyborgs.

So Marcus was the first, a prototype, which was first developed to benefit humanity with the use of cybernetic enhancement.
Skynet programs him to lead John Connor to the base. But the fact that he remains the ability to make his own decisions and see good and evil instead of being a "mindless" killing machine, is probably why Skynet didn't make more of that kind of Terminators, but chose to create T-600, T-800 etc.

But I want to see the new Marcus heads, they looked good to begin with, but they will look even better now

I'm not sure how you'd look australian but I do see what he means about the current Marcus headsculpt looking kind of russian. Something to do with the brow and the steely eyes. The figure looks like someone who might portray a russian in a film or something.

Well Hot Toys just declared they are making modifications so we'll probably see the update at Comic-con I hope

I know I wouldn't mind. If Bale's sculpt needs work then Marcus' sculpt would be comparably terrible. Why? Because you could put Bale's sculpt on a suited TT and people would know who it was, almost 90 percent of the time, I guarantee. Do the same for Marcus and I bet a small handful would guess.

I really like the figure itself it just needs to actually bear that instant recognition likeness.

That is a good way of analyzing them really and I agree.

Glad the Bale sculpt is a good likeness even now, as I plan on getting the sculpt only for my 'Bale Out' custom.
