Wait a second.
1. The Joker - Heath Ledger
2. Marcus Wright - Sam Worthington
3. Wolverine - Hugh Jackman

I seem to be getting a fairly good Australian shelf going on here.

Haha never caught that, and i did think Worthington outshon him in Salvation.
Gotta agree with Maulfan though, i would take him over Jackman, i am not a fan of Jackmans' acting at all, in any movie. He belongs on stage singing and dancing.

In all fairness, Worthington had the main role of the film, while in Terminator lore, Connor is the more important character, in the story of Salvation, he was a supporting character, a big name actor in a smaller, supporting role. Most of the film is spent following Marcus' journey with Kyle and Connor doesn't become too prominent until their paths cross, and most of his scenes were action, not many character scenes where Marcus had more time being presented as a character. It was one of my chief issues with T:S, I was hoping to really delve into Connor's character and ultimately we got no more than we've gotten in previous films and we got a new character who was a one film deal. I'm hoping if there's a follow up, Connor will be more focused on, if it's Bale, I'd like to see what he can do with it.

Ha, he'll end up with a no Aussie clause!

I thought Russell Crowe was better than him in 3:10 to Yuma. But honestly I like Bale, he's a good actor. I don't know why, but I've noticed he's starting to get a little boring and I bet that if the next batman film comes, the villain will still steal the show from him. I remember reading an early review of Terminator Salvation once, it said......"Bale gets "Out-Ledgered."

I find Dark Knight same as T:S, Bale's character in both had less screen time and development than Ledger and Worthington. I came to really like Bale because of his performance in Batman Begins, but he was center of attention there, he's becoming a secondary character in his recent films and he's not getting a chance to really do anything with it.

In all fairness to T:S his character was barely in the original script. When Bale was brought onboard his role was significantly increased. And the films still shows that, his character's arc was minimal at best.

yeah i heard they added alot of scenes with marcus cuz mcg was impressed with his acting or something...

Well Bale was originally brought in to play Marcus, but he wanted the JC role (???), I guess he had his eye on the subsequent movies (should there be any) and the Marcus story 'seems' to have a distint end. Except of course in the realm of quantum mechanics and time travel ANTYTHING can happen... and probably will!:horror
