I guess you're all probably getting a bit tired of Marcus photo's by now but I thought I'd contribute, even if I am late.

I feel like I really need to make this into 2 figures because I love the batal damaged in a t-shirt look, but I also love that blue jacket!!!

There goes another $90!:horror

Well, I finally scrounged together all the parts to make a second Marcus. :chew

Here is a preliminary shot of the "twins":

Also, I wanted to showcase the boots. You don't usually get to see them, and I never would have if I hadn't done this project:

They are works of art in their own right!

The only problem I have now is that The figure comes with 3 right 'gloved' hands and only 1 left 'gloved' hand. So not sure what to do about that. right now as you can see, I have a regular TT left hand on the blue jacket version.

Spent to much on this guy on ebay already!

Might be able to find some fabric though...

I need to futz the blue jacket a bit.

The lapel in particular is bugging me. I want it to lay flatter.

How do you all feel about using an iron on it? Will it hurt the 'velvet' or whatever it is?

I hand stitched mine on the cornets and worked well.

DON'T IRON IT!

Try a small piece of double-back tape (strong stuff like gorilla) if you don't want it to be permanent...otherwise, stitch it down.

Your "twins" look fantastic BTW.... :)

Alrighty then!!!

Actually it seems like anything sticky is more likely to be permanent, as it could leave a residue that would be very difficult to remove.

On the other hand a bit of stitching could be unthreaded quite easy. It's just a question of how big of holes it would leave...

...I'll have to think about this.

robbiethepainter, would you mind going through the trouble of posting a pic of your stitched collar? If it looks as nice as I suspect it does, I may go for it!

Yeah, that dose look good! Thanks for the pic!!!

So you only stitched the corners? The whole lapel is lying so nicely.

I stitched the underside of the collar points and also the lapel points. I stitch all of my figures collars because of the scale of the fabric they never lay natural. And its also really easy to undo if needed.

I just got mine last night, but haven't had a chance to open it up yet. I'm curious to know how mine arrived.
