^As always, awesom pics man! :bow :bow

i really like you how got the light on the hydro-bot to stick out as well as marcus' flesh! nice contrast between the reds of his flesh, the hydro eyes, and his patch versus the blacks! And also the yellow cuffs stand out nicely as well!

Pretty cool alright. Only thing is the overlong forearms on HT humans is something I'm increasingly noticing.

Could have something to do with the double jointed elbow.

Depending on how it's posed it can make the upper or lower arm look a little unnatural.

The problem is, the forearm and upper arm are identical in size, if you fold up the arm completely they're equal halves, but without a hand attached, the forearm should be shorter than the upper arm, not too much, but a fair ammount, and it's not, then add to that the size of hands and depending on costuming and pose, forarms can seem too long.

So, would bending the elbow only at the distal elbow joint correct the look (assuming the pose doesn't have the elbow at more than a right angle)?

It would definitely make the forearm appear shorter.

(btw, I have no problem with your pics above I think they look great!)

Not, it really has nothing to do with bending of the joint the way it is, the forearm just needs to be shorter than it is.

I was just thinking this problem could perhaps be rectified fairly easily in the case of a standard plastic TT arm with clothes over it - just by cutting out a section of the forearm and glueing the part with the wrist joint further back. The clothes would cover the ugliness of the cut. But then again the whole arm might appear too short in relation to the body if you did that. Am I right?

Just checked UPS.com. Mine should arrive on Wednesday!:banana

A quick question:

I really want to be able to display both head sculpts. The battle damaged head with no jacket and the regular head with the blue jacket.

The question is what is the most cost effective way to do this?

I keep watching this on ebay:

https://cgi.ebay.com/Hot-Toys-Terminator-Marcus-Wright-Endoskeleton-Body-NEW_W0QQitemZ360229484439QQcategoryZ50283QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp4340.m263QQ_trkparmsZalgo%3DSIC%26its%3DI%252BC%26itu%3DUCI%252BIA%252BUA%252BFICS%252BUFI%252BDDSIC%26otn%3D10%26ps%3D63

And it usually goes for around $90 shipped.

Seems like an awful lot to me? What do you think?

Should I wait a few months to find one cheaper? Maybe here in the buy/trade forums?

Honestly that's not even what you shold be looking for :p you may want to grab a normal body for your blue coat so you ahve more range in posing! you get some generic leather or other clothing but that will slap another $30-50 on to pof the TT body at $30 so if you can get the entire thing for less than $100 you might as well do that and sell the rest 9though I kept my second sset everything now since it's not worth much these days as everyone wants the same things and has the same extras. I wonder if the clean head will be worth a bit more eventually for Avatar or Clashes of the Titans etc :)

I thought about getting a regular TT to get the better range of motion but I am determined to get the right clothes (rather than generic), and to buy the pants, boots and shirt is almost as expensive as the item I linked to above. Add that to the price of the TT and it's is less cost effective.

The question then becomes: am I willing to spend more than $90 in order to get a little more range of motion.

Not sure.

Still leaning towards getting the complete body, sans head.

One more question:

If I were to go with buying a TT for him, would it need to be narrow shoulder or standard to look right in the blue coat outfit?

Oh I didnt pay attention that this is for not just the body :p so I guess depends on how much this will go.
i was goign to pick up the proper clothing on ebay but at the time pants, shirt, shoes, etc just ended up being $50+ and the body I just ended up getting a second figure with intention to sell all the extra parts but by the time I finally got off my lazy *** selling the extra parts it was just not worth the trouble anymore :p
I had my extra MW on a narrow for a while and seems fine :p
