Logan is coming with two pairs of unclawed hands

Excellent, but the addition of one of those sets just makes it a bit sadder no bone claws. Sure he didn't have them when he wore that farmer's clothes, but it still would have been cool to have because at this point, it's likely Sabertooth, if that, is the only other figure we're getting from Origins, and the longer Logan's around with no sign of another figure, the more I feel like we're not even getting Sabertooth.

At this moment in time I'm preferring the wife-beater only look. Problem is if I displayed it like that permanently it'd collect dust and sunlight and become discoloured over time...hmm.

What look are other people going to go for when they get this guy?

Dust I can understand, but where would your figure be displayed that sunlight would be a big factor, as far as I know, it's really only a heavy ammount of direct sunlight that causes noticable fading on things.

That would certainly be news, but I think the glossy shine on the lower part of the Iris, and the head being positioned more upright, contributes to the illusion the eyes are looking upward.

omg im been wanting a decent wolverine figure since freaking xmen 2 now i finally got me one.

Yeah, bone claws would have been awesome. I wouldn't have made him use them but they would have been cool to have.

Ah, the dreaded DX versions. Part of me wants to wait for all "big" characters DXs but the other part of me is so ^^^^ing impatient that I want a collectible asap. :lol

I don't see them doing anybody other than Sabertooth now (if that).

Why is that Terminator Salvation has all these figures announced one after the other, but we have to wait for Wolverine and Watchmen?

Because Terminator is a property that people will buy up from regardless of the film. Terminators aren't actors with performances, they're just machines that do stuff and for many collectors, that's cool enough, they'll buy them just because they look badass.

A movie like Watchmen and Wolverine requires a bit more out of actors and actresses to win favor for buying up figures, and HT probably assumes some things didn't go over so hot.

My guess is, Terminator they knew would sell no sweat so they cranked it out quick while everyone was craving it. Watchmen and Wolverine are likely to only get buys from the real die hards, and those people will buy anytime, so there's no rush.

IDK, had Hot Toys release Watchmen figures when the film was out, i would have bought them all. Now, I would buy 2 at most, and I'm a diehard Watchmen fan.

I am not a huge Watchmen fan but I certainly understand the frustration over a movie released in March without a single figure representation yet. Ironman suffered the same fate last year but interest seemed to remain steady while patience faltered.

Hugh's Wolverine is a classic IMO despite a so-so movie. I hate the wait but I will buy this figure regardless. I am hoping for Liev's Sabertooth as well and will wait without losing interest. If they release a Gambit or other second tier character then I too have no interest at this point. HT has the Marvel line-up, too many possibilities to waste on blah characters.

Indeed they would, but I have to say, the longer we go since we first got a glimpse of Wolverine without any sign of Sabertooth, the less I'm thinking we'll see one. HT may base things off the response to the films. Jackman is very popular as Wolverine, so even if Origins wasn't the most well received film, success could happen with this figure regardless, and essentially he can mix with an X-Men trilogy set of figures as casual Wolverine so it's not a limited figure at all. However, Schreiber Sabertooth is limited to Origins, and if they think the film's reception is indication of how well that figure would sell, they may pass and just leave this Wolverine as a lead in to the trilogy figures.

I understand with what your saying with the elapsed time But I am hoping it isn't the case. I would love a Schreiber - Sabertooth, Reynolds - Wilson from Origins. In addition, I would love a Jane - Punisher, Affleck - Daredevil and Cage - Ghost Rider. HT takes the approach you mention the only cast of Marvel characters we will see is from Spiderman, X-men and perhaps Hulk (not a bad thing) but I am hoping for a well rounded license.

Off Topic, but I cant wait for Marvel to release the Thor movie and buy Hot Toys version of Thor.
