From the angle and his bulkiness this pic reminds me of Triple H :lol
But I think the Jackman likeness is great from the other pics.
Wasn't gonna get this at all but I'm wavering....

Kinda does........... I think I hear the Motorhead song in the background :lol I was wavering too but only cause I might wait till they release a X-2 one but you don't need a x-men outfit to tell this is wolverine.

I actually prefer this to the suits from the X-Men movies....black leather for all the X-Men :monkey4

Give us the comic versions HT and I won't hesitate to throw my money at you.

I'm a little unclear...has this figure been altered from what we've seen as recently as last week? Because this photo above looks like his head is thicker and looks more like Jackman to me.

But the photo above even looks, as someone else said, a bit bulkier than the other pics we have seen of this fig. I like the thickness in the face...looks better to me, but am just trying to figure out if something changed or if the photo/angle are just playing tricks.

Really? Because I'm trying to figure out what it is. Maybe you're right, because I went from on the fence to really liking this fig over the course of a couple weeks.

With that said, he does look thicker in that pic (both in body and, especially to me, his head) than previous photos.

Maybe it's the shadow on his face :huh

Thanks for the pics, Darren. I love the figure and the anticipation grows with each new pic.

I agree about lacking accessories but he is still badass. The extra hands appear to be closed fists which is rather anti-climatic.

I was being sarcastic. I believe the sculpt has remained the same since SDCC or even those early scans after the teaser released.

I was just making a bit of fun. Some are saying the sculpt looks more like Jackman now because ostensibly they think it has been changed. Well, for all I know it has, but I don't believe it has. It just looks different every time it's photographed.

I really likes this figure a lot but for the money it really needs a second head of him growling or something. His facial expression is too complacent to really sell a dynamic pose. People speak of the limited poses that rubber bodies have, but with this face it has the same drawbacks. This is just my opinion...

I totally agree. If I buy him from Sideshow, it's $192 shipped. For that price, he better at least come with two headsculpts and a few extra hands!

How can some of you say that is doesn't look like Jackman? The sculpt isn't 100% accurate but for a toy it's damn close. What I mean is, how can some of you say there isn't even an resemblance? It does need to be tweaked, no doubt but some of you exaggerate your words too much.

Agreed. Its perfect Jackman likeness. PERFECT. I'll buy it someday. The movie sucked, but Jackman's Wolvie is a great a character...atleast for X-1 and 2.

At the end of the day I need me a Hot Toys Wolverine, but I'm usure of getting this, or waiting for a possible suited-up version. While the suited up version would look great with any more X-Men characters HT'll make, it would have to be film specific, whereas slight hair changes aside, this one is pretty representative of Logan in his civilian garb from XMO, X1 and X2.

Looks like maybe Wolverine getting the other pair of hands as relax/sheath hands (kind of like the standard TT relax hands)... kind of boring (or probably just a prototype). Wolvy has lots of more iconic hand postures/grip

It's a bit surprising to see him come with the standard open hands for alternates, since in theory, they'll have hair added like the clawed ones, so why not come up with something more interesting. Fists would have been good even.

hopefully he comes with 2/3 pairs of hands! claws out, fists no claws and relaxed hands without claws should be included as standard imo! IM and TDK figs did.Lack of accessories wouldnt bother me one bit if we got 3 pairs of hands!

Hold on , one picture shows him with fist and now one with open hands. How many pairs of hands are included

Where have you seen a picture of the figure with clawless fist hands?

Official specs state

Two pairs of interchangeable hands

Which would be clawed and unclawed.

From here. I think he'll come with relaxed hands though. The photographer (Tommy Richardson) has been known to mix parts from other characters for his figures.

I'm thinking other way around, 2 sets of fists and Tommy borrowed the open hands.

Here's my logic, HT sculpts Wolverine's fisted hands with the hair and all, then duplicates them and makes cuts for the blades. That way, they only sculpt one set of hands with a slight mod to change them as needed.

I think for Wolverine, unclawed fists is the better route with the second set (bone claws would have been best).

One thing about HT figures I dislike at the relaxed/open hands, they look more like they're posed to hold something, they don't look relaxed at all and not holding anything, they can look really goofy. Sideshow's are much better.
