Well, even as I typed that post I realized all the postives for Blade still didn't put him over the top since, like I said, Wolvie is Wolvie.

So...on a whim this morning I figured I'd check BBTS...and they had him in stock!!! :google Impulse purchase complete. Must've only been 1 (a return maybe?) cause he's listed as sold out again. Was very happy to get one at that price.

Hopefully the wife shares my joy. :duh:angelsmil:whip

He really is a nice figures, in the top 5 for sure. You wont be disappointed.

:horrorI think Origins is a better film than Blade 2 also...:horror

No you did not just say that... I have been scarred for life... Blade 2 owned Origins in a huge way... Origins was lame form the start to finish... Only thing it got right was the cool War montage at the start of the movie... Blade 2 was a badass film form start to finish...

:lol I'm not going to get into a fanboy argument over it... Just an opinion, great response BTW :D :rock...... If there's one thing that ruins superhero films it's comparing them to years worth of continuity formed from hundreds (if not thousands) of comic book issues. I'm not trying to get preachy but at some point you just have to accept that whenever comic characters get the Hollywood treatment there will be some, hopefully not too much, tweaking that will upset long time fans. I take the films on the same level as an Ultimate series or All-Star series in comic form. They're new visions and stories of classic established characters.

I found that by comparing the movies to what I know about the comics I was ruining any chance of enjoying them. I remember being so damn excited about Spider-Man (my favorite) the movie. I watched it around five times that first weekend but because I was so entrenched in all my Spider-Man knowledge I never really enjoyed any of the films.

I look for these things now: Does the film capture the flavor of the characters? Not minute details but real character. I could rip apart Origins for the way they made Deadpool, but I just choose to ignore it and enjoy the Wolverine/Weapon X/Victor Creed aspects, which were all pretty damn cool. Am I getting enough screen-time for the hero and the villains? I HATE having too much of the heroes love life dominating the film to the point where (like with Spider-Man) I'm getting too much of the alter ego and his life and not enough of the Superhero fighting bad guys, which is what we really want to see. Wolverine is always Wolverine for example, so I get my fix.

That is EXACTLY how i feel, very well said.

Having said that, I do feel Origins was lacking...not because of DP, but because it just felt...off...somehow. Hard to say. But having said that I always love Jackman's Logan, and Schrieber WAS Creed imo, he nailed it so perfectly while giving real depth to their rivalry, something that IMO has always been missing from the comics (at least the ones I read when i was younger).

"having said that..." i actually agree with you, the film was lacking a bit, but i did still enjoy it. (then again, i haven't read any x-men comics, so dont judge the movie based one my opinions)

Ya know, I knew when I posted it I said that phrase twice and almost changed it. But then I thought why ruin some *********'s day by negating the chance to make fun of that.

Having said that...nah...your's still a Dbag.

:D :horror :naughty :angelsmil or whatever emoticon that lets you know I'm only messing around.

Awesome reference! :lol

Curb FTW! :rock

just got this today. i know i'm a little bit late to the game, but i'm really impressed. i wish the jackman likeness was a little bit better, but overall, it's a great, realistic sculpt, and still recognizable. i only wish i had bought 2, so i could have one with the tank top, and the other fully clothed.

i'm also curious, with just the tank top, should i put the dog tags on him or leave them off?

Definitely have the dog tags on.
Yeah, wish I have 2 of them also. Took me a long time to finally take the jacket off cause he looks awesome with the tank top and jacket on. But he just looks more rough with the just the tank top...like he's about to open up a can of whoop ass.

I'm pretty sure he has the dog tags on the entire time after the Weapon X procedure. I say leave um on!

I plan on mine wearing the dog tags all the time.

I'll be getting mine on the 22nd, can't wait!!

IIRC in the first X movie he wore a denim jacket under the leather, wonder if I can find a decent one that would fit under the HT coat. I think I'd like that more than the red shirt.
