I'm not a big Watchman fan either but how could they not do a Rorschach?!? That would actually bring people into sixth scale and actually increase their customer base.

Am not a watchman fan but a Rorschach figure would be pretty hard not to buy.

Back to Wolverine. I really like this version might buy it next month.

Not a bad fan of the black leather outfits from the films

If any line has went a bit overboard it's Iron Man... 5 Tony Stark figures announced to date with 2 or 3 more coming. Still, if they continue to sell HT will continue to make them.

IMO they went over board on all:
Batman:
- 4 Batman's (include Batman Begins)
- 3 Joker's
- 1 Harvey Dent / Two Face
- Absent Gordon, Scarecrow, Ra's etc.

IM:
- 5 Ironman (overkill)
- 1 Stark
- Absent War Monger (understand why tho)

TS
- 2 John Connor
- 1 Marcus Wright
- 5 Endo's (I think)
- Absent Reese

HT elected to milk the IM and Endo bodies to recoup investment instead of making figures pivotal to the films. I get it is a business but their choices were disappointing BUT beneficial because I was able to easily pass on so many figures :D

I never understood the need for 7 Batman figures, 7 Terminator Salvation figures, 6 Ironman figures representing a small number of characters while blantly omitting important characters in other films.

Still, if they continue to sell HT will continue to make them.

Fiosi nailed it. You see time and again people wanting HT to do things like take over Star Wars 1/6, but the reality with HT is, most of the time, they stick with the best seller characters and don't have the balls to do so-so ones that might be a nice fan service but not sell as well as others. They play it safe, only occassionally taking a gamble. TDK, Iron Man, Terminator, Predators, Aliens, they know what will sell in multiples and they cash in on it. Anything where there's only a figure or two worth making in their eyes, it's all they do, like Wolverine. No matter how the movie was received, fandom for Jackman Wolverine supported doing a figure from it, but clearly they don't feel Schreiber Sabertooth would be wise, yet there are people who want it.

Not to bring this thread back on topic or anything, but I was looking thru pics of when this first started showing up and noticed someone said that the jacket will stain the body if left on too long, is that a common problem?

If I get him the first thing I was planning to do was lose the red shirt, so that would kinda suck if it has to be on whenever he's wearing the jacket. Not a deal breaker, but good to know.

Honestly, the red shirt is damn nice. I thought I'd do the same but I really like him with the shirt and jacket.

I had small stains on the shoulders where the jacket liner meets the leather. the leather is the problem. I wanted the wife beater/ jacket look so I wash the crap out of the jacket and got most of the over dye out. I have since not had a problem with staining.

Bring on Xavier on wheelchair!!!
Don't care much for Xavier, I just want the wheels.:banana:banana:banana

If I remember correctly the guy who stained his body had left the figure lying on the OUTSIDE of the jacket, which in turn caused the stain....I think that's what happened.

Gotta watch for the buttons though... I had to glue two back on last night. :monkey2

Ok, thanks for the tips guys!

Just out of curiousity...Wolvie or Blade?

Taking the love of the character out (which Wolvie wins by a landslide) it would seem Blade would be the clear winner. Better sculpt (IMO), MANY more accessories, and (right now) a lower price.

But...Wolvie's Wolvie.

Last week I was asking the same question.... I bought Wolverine and I'm happy about it. I think Origins is a better film than Blade 2 also.

No you did not just say that... I have been scarred for life... Blade 2 owned Origins in a huge way... Origins was lame form the start to finish... Only thing it got right was the cool War montage at the start of the movie... Blade 2 was a badass film form start to finish...

They gotta gives us Juggernaut ! As soon as they start hyping X-men we all have to bombard them with our demands! Dont let this chance slip away

We cant have another watchmen line again

Would love to have a Hot Toys Vinny Juggernaut!!

I love both figures, each great in there own way. I was trying to think of what other accessories Wolvie could of come with based on Origins and the only thing I could think of was his Vietnam outfit and a damn cigar.

I'm about to start bashing a WW2 Logan.

Well, even as I typed that post I realized all the postives for Blade still didn't put him over the top since, like I said, Wolvie is Wolvie.

So...on a whim this morning I figured I'd check BBTS...and they had him in stock!!! :google Impulse purchase complete. Must've only been 1 (a return maybe?) cause he's listed as sold out again. Was very happy to get one at that price.

Hopefully the wife shares my joy. :duh:angelsmil:whip
