One thing I just noticed is that there is an exaggerated cleft on the Hot Toys chin that shouldn't be there.

It's just the way the split of his beard is sculpted and because it's solid and not transparent like hair, it looks like it's his face.

It's not a cleft

It's hair from his sideburns

I really don't get the negativity towards the movie, I mean it wasn't as good as X1 and X2, but I thought it was still a good addition in the series. Fortunately, my X-Men familiarity is limited to the movies so maybe that's why, I have no attachment or knowledge on the background of these guys to get hung up on stuff and it seems like part of the disliking of the film stems from unhappiness with how characters were handled.

Actually I find some of arguments against the movie show a lack of knowledge of Wolverine from the comic books.
For instance Logan living in a log cabin with Silver Fox. This happened in the comics and he even carves there names on a tree

Well, the main arguments I recall are the CGI, which wasn't the best ever but wasn't atrocious, I thought, either, and the portrayal of some of the characters, particularly Deadpool, but again, I don't know what he should be so I enjoyed it.

I thought the 2 core roles, Logan and Victor, were both well played, Jackmans is awesome as Wolverine and Schreiber was perfect for Victor, it's a shame he wasn't cast in X1 and could actually make Sabertooth interesting in that movie.

I watched this movie for the first time earlier this week. Well lets just say that I sold the blu-ray yesterday. :lol

I went in with low expectations. So, I was expecting stupid things like:

Stryker typing in commands to Bakara-pool. "Decapitate" lol

I also was expecting them not to stick to the comics:

(again Bakara-pool)

The CGI did look terrible, especially on Blu-ray. Wolverine's claws looked cartoonish like that singing Sinatra sword in Who Framed Roger Rabbit. Again, I can look past that.

The worst part was that the action was dull. The Wolverine-centric action scenes didn't even come close to the mansion-defending scene in X2 and, to a lesser extent, the scenes in X3. It was just dull. That is the unforgivable part. Wolverine wasn't slicing up baddies, he was cutting sinks and fire escapes. There was less brutality in this than the X-movies, which was a head-scratcher.

Again, I don't despise the movie, it just was a wasted opportunity.

Not a great movie. Not even sure I would call it "good," though it had some decent moments I guess. Might pick up this figure despite the movie, though. Beat the hell out of Fantastic Four, but that doesn't mean anything.

That would have been cool, and yeah, the best part of the X-Trilogy as far as action scenes was Wolvering chopping everyone down in the mansion, followed by his little hunt in the woods of X3, loved seeing him there as the animal.

Wolverine goes after Magneto's base camp alone to get back Jean and out in the woods he has to take out a bunch of Magneto's goons to get into camp, he's climbing and leaping from trees, cutting down everyone in his way, I really like it.

just finished watching the movie about 10 minutes ago.its a good rental IMO, coulda use a bit more jokes in some scenes but overall a decent movie.

Anyways, looking at the HT promo pix and I am really disappointed. I was not impressed when the promo pix first released and now its worse. Hopefully in-hand pix will be better.
