I got two when they first came out and both tanks were just long enough to touch the top of his jeans. If thats all, i would say your ok.

What about the base of the stand? Mine isn't silverish color. It's white and it's not a very good paint job. But otherwise it's a great looking figure. So I'm thinking more and more it's legit like you guys say it is. Thanks guys!!
