I'd agree with that except for this:

Seems that for any sort of dynamic arm pose, you'd have to have the forearm and upper arm misaligned, I'd rather cover the body and do cool poses than use cool poses and have him look like his arms are broken.

I was a little concerned with that too, but I wonder if there is a typical shoulder joint hidden underneath the muscle suit? OMG said it was just thin rubber over a TT.

It's thin rubber over the upper torso of a TT, but the arms are solid, which is why you can see a joint at the elbow. HT females are similar only the rubber is the whole torso with hard plastic legs and arms.

Still have this on order through SSC. Wondering if I should just order from HK.

THIS IS A MUST HAVE

wow........WOW

even though the joints throw it off a little bit...that looks like live, human flesh :google HOLY CRAP! he looks like he could be a living breathing human

(one day they'll invent a way to completely get rid of the damn joints)

Except the Dutch body sucks, I'm so glad they came up with the solution they did for Wolverine.

I do next to none when posing my figures so I like the Dutch body the way it is. It is rather "yesterday" though .............. this new body is amazing to say the least.

What's your pose though, holding the gun in a firing position, it can barely get any kind of pose like that, which is why I hate it, even if I were a one and done figure poser, the Dutch simply can't do anything I'm really happy with, it actually seems worse to pose with guns than the muscle bodies Rambo came one.

I think though if I'm going to have joints I'd rather just have a fully plastic body from the start. I mean , surely with it still being made from rubber it has just as much chance to fall apart right ?.
I know its less likely to split with the way its been made but isn't it just as easily possible for them to make these types of bodies in just plastic ?.
I know nothing about making them but it seems like it would be easier and surely plastic is easier to paint too.

That is the pose mine is in and you're right, it was a pain to achieve the right look. I suppose Dutch's biceps are the reason its so hard to get the proper pose. If you compare to your Rambo's there is a difference in size. Overall the shape and dimensions are at least correct.

Well, 80% of Wolverine is hard plastic, I dont' plan to find out, but I believe beneath the rubber chest/back is the same hard plastic upper body that's present for all TT bodies, I think it's just wrapped in rubber to get better detail and wrap snugly around the shoulders, which a regular TT doesn't, but still be posable. I assumed the upper body was hard plastic when this figure debuted and I worried that the arms wouldn't be able to move much being up against the pecs the way it looks, but those being soft rubber, it can. This Wolverine is a nice blend of rubber aesthetics and hard plastic durability and posability, probably still not as posable as a normal body, but I imagine it's as posable as a body can get that looks as realistic in definition as it does.

I definitely get why it's limited, but just saying, all in all, the body was a swing and a miss, makes me wish they made the Dutch body after Wolverine and handled it this way, it'd still look nice but I bet you'd more easily get gun holding poses out of it. Dutch body is the most limited body I've encountered for poses.

Well theres always an opportunity when they make a T1 Arnold. ;)

This body is nothing new. Art Asylym did one for their Bruce Lee in 1/4 scale.

I think I'm going to pick this Wolverine up. With Iron man coming hopefully in mark IV version next year and also Batman dx they should make a nice trio. Maybe War Machine too.

See... I already know next year is going to suck my cash away already. :monkey1

see now to me , that type of body would be perfect. I don't mind this Wolverine one and it does look awesome but the idea will still always play on my mind that one day I'll walk in and it will be ripped or starting to tear or something.
Obviously if they used a body like the one pictured they would have to apply better paint apps for the price they want and stuff but I think it could work just as well.
I think they'll know all this though and I don't like being so negative in an awesome thread so I'm going to shut up now. :D
