I think its great but its not screaming buy me. I think id prefer him in a X-men uniform tbh.

I want a Dlx Wolverine with rage sculpt, battle damage sculpt, PERS, bone claws and normal claws and Wolverine in X-men suit (no movie preference).

I went to HT facebook and in their "what figures do you want to see" I asked for a Sabertooth. I will have my fill of Wolverine then (until next movie).:D

Thats just cooky talk :duh

It is the Christmas season, the sky is the limit. HT made the new "hairy" body for Wolverine and they enjoy money therefore, it isn't out of the realm of possibility. Although a Dlx version may tick-off some folks, I would gladly welcome it.

HT can either be The Grinch that Stole Christmas or good ole Saint Nick :D

I kinda hope we see another Joker now :monkey1

A possible interest if HT did Joker with a grinning sculpt. Nah. I cannot get excited about a grinning sculpt either no matter how awesome.

I have AIF: AIF is a phobia or fear of HT introducing Alternate or Improved Figures from licensed characters thusly milked such as TDK: Joker, TS: Endo's and Ironman. However, the Tech-Suit Tony Stark eases my fear somewhat :D

This shot reminds me of when Stryker comes to the lumber yard, really has hugh's build in this figure, and I see Hugh just fine in the portrait, great figure, looking forward to it.

i seem to be the only one missing something. it's a fantastic figure, can't wait to receive it. but i'm really struggling to see the likeness:

a see it as an amazing rendition of wolverine. but i seriously can't see much hugh jackman in there. i must be looking at it wrong.

Well I can see the likeness, but if you can't, does is it really matter?
As you said Likeness or not, it's still an amazing Wolverine

All that truly matters is that you who are paying the money for the thing are happy with it. We all innevitably have at least one piece in our collection that a majority would say is overly flawed but we love it.

Not saying anyone specific, but I get a vibe at this site sometimes like people are almost afraid to like something and enjoy it for themself regardless of the popular opinion of the board. I can't imagine collecting that way, personally, I see something I like, I buy it, simple as that.

I'm looking forward too seeing some in hand DX Batman pics, so some of the negativity will leave that thread.
Hopefully it will start filling up some more positive comments like this thread

Batman really needs in hand context. I've felt this figure's looked good since the first photos and the Comic Con shots. Batman, even I've wondered about, some of what seems to be enhancements on the first release can't be judged until you have them both side by side and can go oh, ok that's much better. A lot of people seem to think it's the first figure with new heads pretty much, which I don't think'll be the case.

I'm glad those motorcycle shots were posted, I probably wouldn't have thought to do anything like that, right now my Harley for my Terminator is stored in the closest and I'd have forgotten I have it, but now I'll break it out and do some stuff with it.

Man, I really love the variety of options with this guy in terms of posing him to keep it 'fresh'...

full get-up
leather jacket with tank-top
just tank-top
shirtless
red-shirt over tank-top, no jacket

Did I miss any? :D

I guess, no shirt, but with jacket on...if one were so inclined...
