Super boring images... but here's my Big Chap:

Is it just me or does the Big Chap actually look like the Big Chap there? Wow it just looks fantastic from that angle, the dome mouth and all.

PS: don't mean to diss on the figure, I'm on the general consensus bandwagon: awesome figure, just inaccurate.

At the fear of sounding like a sad case, I'd just like to say thanks guys. The last few pages have shown just how well we can all agree to disagree (well mostly), debate is good as long as it’s constructive and tolerant.
Some love him just the way he is; others can't live with the embellishments/oversights (depending on your stance).
I'm actually stuck in the middle. Sure there are a few point I would have preferred more accurate (I'm still not sure what that chamfered dome is about), but he's fabricated and released now, there's no changing that!

Cheers, I just finished the words this morning (GMT), so I'll take pics at the weekend, hope to edit them early next week. But I have a feeling my Wolverine review is up this Sunday and Mike still has my Resi 5 Wesker and Sheva to run. But it'll be soon.

Yanno it's kinda odd. One of the few things that does bother me on the figure (that lever sticking out of the back of the head) I only notice in photos. Unless I go looking for it I don't notice it. I only even remembered it was there after looking at my photos.

I wouldn't consider myself a novice............But maybe I am . I like the figure. However I am planning one using the silver pen thingy and glue the mouth shut. Anyways sorry .....What about these two heads that were released? I say either one is well pretty accurate. Couldn't HT use them for a reference?

I think the back of the head is all wrong on the Sideshow one and on the Giger one it seems to lack the cord around the dome which is maybe why the Hot Toys head lacks it?

Yes, the front is atleast accurate.

But Hot Toys could've just used the movie. Plently of mouth source material.

Thanks, Jeff. Marmit looks the most accurate to me... STILL. Sideshow Bust (not pictured) is also excellent, why I'm looking forward to their maquette, should be great.

Hot Toys has the perfect head shape, but the mouth kills it.

Now, it's like this, shop for the figure or statue you want most, and get it, and don't get the ones you don't like as most of them are NOT ABSOLUTELY ACCURATE ANYWAY!
And stop repeating the obvious about the HT! I mean, seriously! damn! Broken record time. You guys are killing me! Funniest thread in Freaks history. Like watching Abbott & Costello do Who's on First!

(I still LOVE my HT Chap, and you super accuracy guys can't do a thing about it! Even though I do understand...)

I'm enjoying not having this figure. For once I stuck by my guns and had some self-discipline!

The thread is still interesting though because of the debating.

Weirdly though I like the Hot Toys bust better than the figure... at least from the side. The bust has those wacky evil eyes on the skull though which I do not like. I think I like the Marmitt, Kenner, Sega, and HT Bust the best (at least in those pics) simply because they all look to have mostly closed mouths.

If you look closely I think they all have accuracy issues (at least compared to the prop photo used). To me on quick glance the worst of the bunch are NECA, Sega, Hasbro, and Hot Toys mostly for me due to the dome shape. Neca and Hasbro seem to have the worst of the bunch. Hot Toys and Sega suffer from the dome being way too short vertically. The Neca does as well but it also suffer from just plain being weirdly shaped.

This is just based on that particular angle though. I think there would be different issues from different angles.

Yeah, where did you get us wanting you to hate it? We just want you to know it isnt accurate. And stop justfiying it. It is what it is. We dont known the reasons. Only the outcome.
