Both of my aliens warriors knees snapped less than a year and they had been untouched in a display case. The rubber is starting to deteriorate as well. I won't buy any more aliens from them.

i think gohastings pulled my preauth before converting to an actual charge.........

at least it looks that way from my bank statement & i havent got an email yet saying it shipped. i originally got a confirmation for the order. i guess i will know in a day or two.............

They've been a bit slow lately. I ordered a Dog Alien with other stuff and still haven't seen a shipped noticed yet either and it's been like 3 days.

seems like that has more to do with justifying the $$ they spent on it.
could've got the McFarlane alien for $100 less and it's just as accurate.
at least that one won't disintegrate.

I used a DecoColor Liquid Silver paint marker I picked up at Michael's for $3.25. I think it looks as good as the pics the other guys posted. I try to take pics later.

HUGE difference. It's amazing what a small touch up detail like that can do to the overall appearance.

BTW, I think the nails on the hands and feet were actually a white transluscent material, not solid chrome looking.

But seriously, it is a huge difference. I want to do a few little touch ups on the teeth, then glue them together.

I chromed my nails too only to find out too late that they are not really chrome. But hey...

At some point I'll repainted them lightly with some wash.

Just ordered my Big Chap from GoHastings. The coupon code worked, of course, and I managed to get him for a cool $120 including expedited shipping.

And now... we wait . Still in Canada, but by the time I get back home later this week, I should have my T-700 waiting (along with the new Dog Alien I left in the garage while I've been gone, due to that smell ). And a few days later, the Big Chap should arrive.
Man, I love that site.
