As far as pose-ability goes, if the HT alien has seamless hips, it probably will have as little articulation as the Medicom figure.
Although there were pics or scans from a magazine that seemed to show the regular HT hip articulation...
yeah, i couldn't tell how the ht legs are articulated. guess we won't know for sure until in-hand pics turn up.
One thing I like about the Medicom figure is the material of the suit, it's not "sticky" like the HT A3 alien and stays mostly lint-free.
see, my a3 suit isn't all that sticky from what i could see. but my kane/dallas suits definitely are.
i'm really more worried about them disintegrating on the shelf. then again, i've had my ss creature forever and its suit is fine.
the medicom suit looks even cheaper to me. but, that could just be the paint. i've never held it personally.

well, it'll be more for those who can wait and get it at a discount down the line.
it's not like anybody is bucking the system by bending over and taking the inaccuracy with a smile.

This will prolly be another HT figure that will shoot up in value down the line no matter what some people think may be wrong with it.

They have. They've sent me over 100 messages, not missing my order. :monkey3

fixed.

yeah, i've heard that scary story a bunch of times. but my collection says otherwise. yawn.

this figure is a great experiment of HT:
"how crappy can be our figures before people stop buying them?"
they are just planning to get some retards for making figures in future for no money at all.

Nice terminology... cheez do you EVER stop?

The Medicom suit is a very strange material, it feels more like plastic rather than rubber, yet despite the posing or handling, it doesn't become sticky at all. Haven't seen any signs of degradation either.

If you can get it for cheap, go for it, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised after having it in your hands for a couple of days.

i'll take your word on the suit. but i don't think you're taking into account how neurotic i am about scale.
stand-alone pieces are mostly just eyesores to me. however, i bet i'll end up giving in and getting the medi figure.
it's still the most screen-accurate figure there is. even more than the neca version. and i don't really do statues.
The paint job is very plain though. I'm still waiting for some brave soul to do a re-paint!
yeah, a repaint could actually make a big difference. it looks like kenner painted it.

That thing looks pretty dam cool to me . I'm glad I preorderd . Looking at these photos it seems to have the more black color and the milky white head like in the movie. The teeth still are not silver though. Almost . I still love it.

So, it's not as tall as it should be either. It will go well next to the Predator 1 figure, but not look right next to any human characters.

Mine's going inside my Nostromo diorama, so the scale isn't an issue for me.

I just HOPE that they can get that paint scheme on the production piece.

might just look shorter because it's further back on the display.
next to the re5 figures it looks about right.

or, HT made it to scale with Medicom figures to be d!cks.

like someone else said, look how tall it is compared to the Wesker figure *paws at wesker figure:drool* which is right next to him..height looks about right to me.

also that almost looks like the first proto figure. The teeth are smaller and the eyes look like they have the early versions "evil eyes"
Could be wrong though.
