It's really kind of a shame HT took their eye off the ball on this, such an iconic piece. But not all is lost...

It can still work in Vegas as a Look a Like.

Didn't see this posted anywhere, but the proto/WIP in Joseph Tsang's blog (link in new HT newsletter: https://hk.myblog.yahoo.com/josephfigure/article?mid=1069) looks much more accurate than the final product. The thinner upper "gums" and dome slope seem much better. Something was lost in the translation from proto sculpt to production piece - perhaps issues with the inner jaw mechanism, or to accomodate articulation joints? I guess we'll never know.

Hot Toys decided it looked too much like the Alien in the movie, and told him to try again.
