imo i feel like both JC sculpts lack a certain 'life like' feel.
Dont get me wrong, the detail and execution is top notch but its like it there is no facial expression and the eyes are staring into space. I cant as much dynamic poses with JC compared to the BR.

I kinda got the same feeling, especially in those shots where he's holding the Hydrobot and aiming at the Terminator base. It looks like he's looking into the Hydrobot's eyes @_@

What kind of expression would you guys have preferred? I'm happy with the way they did it to be honest.

I'm fine with it as well and will pick it up regardless... But I wouldn't have minded if the second head had a bit of a scowl... Of course I realize how much of a hassle getting approval was for these figures so it's just wishful thinking.

The likeness still isn't that great, but it it more appealing to me than the first version I think.

Odds are, Sideshow will put up a Coming Soon spotlight in this week's newsletter announcing preorder with next week's newsletter, or it may just go up this week.

Typically things either go up for sale Thursday with the newsletter or there's an announcement and a date scheduled at least a week out for preorders, things very rarely just go up whenever.

I only said the other day I wouldn't get this, but I changed my mind. I like it alot. I had some store credit at Toys2 so I used that to order this.

The rifle that comes with the first Connor is actually used by him in the film when he's wearing the costume of this new figure, and the rifle this new figure comes with is the one he used wearing the first costume.

it is funny that hot toys messed that up no biggie though , also the base that comes with the new figure would have fit the first figure better

I only said the other day I wouldn't get this, but I changed my mind. I like it alot. I had some store credit at Toys2 so I used that to order this.

The likeness looks pretty good to me.You can definitely tell its Christian Bale. But I think this version looks better in terms of acessories and the t-600 base looks awesome.But what really makes this figure IMO, is the scar on connors face. But the costume on JC version 1 look better.

i kinda agree, actually. while his expression is by no means terrible, i would've preferred ht to have given us a new expression. something a little more obvious. this expression is still fairly neutral. a bigger frown and more downturn in his mouth perhaps. he does have a huge wound on his face, so a more pained expression would suit this sculpt better...

To me v1 is better but I want v2 rifle to make it movie accurate. Do you want to change your v2 HK416 rifle with my v1 M4 rifle? You'll also have the correct rifle for that outfit too

-Hottoys feels that they made way too many TS figure so this JC v.2 will be the last

-HT want to make the MotoTermintor and other endo when the TS project start, but the film company didnt provide enough refrence and they drop the project.

-The hyrobot orginally go with another figure (not Marcus) but since HT want to end the TS line, they desided to include it on this final battle ver.

-due to the lack of info, HT made up lots of the hyrobot parts.

the moto-terminator would have been really cool but ... phew... it saves me for spending another 200-300$ for it

it would be nice to know what other figures they have planned. which "other endo", maybe the arnie-proto-type? and what another charakter? Kyle Reese? Blair Williams? The hydrobot should have been matched the new charakter and none of them would go with a hydrobot... so it's curious...
