Alter Ego usually gets their stuff soon after Sideshow; maybe a week to two week delay.

I ordered 2 from them, one to keep the 2nd to finally make a Conan figure... that body is just too good to pass up for a custom figure.

End of May seems reasonable. AE and most of the other US sellers will be getting their stock from Sideshow. So whenever SS ships, the others will follow.

I never really paid much attention to the smaller details (too excited to care) but jeez even the belt is dead on accurate to the film. Man the wait is killing me!

No it's not, it should be white :monkey3

Gonna be a hard figure to beat.

Too different to fairly compare, but if HT really makes this, I think it will be a very impressive figure.

Watching T2 last night, I can't help wishing, and I wonder who else wants it too, I hope HT gives us a thumbs up hand if they do a BD T-800.

I was thinking the same thing. I was looking for any thumbs up hands for 1:6 figures just to see if there were any for a thumbs up pose from when John was teaching the Terminator to high five.

It's a silly thing, but I think given the story of T2 and the "humanity" of the T-800, HT might think it relevant enough to add in, and I can't imagine a hand is too big of a deal to make, they'll have to do unique hands for the figure anyway. It just takes me back to when I was a kid watching T2, I thought it was the coolest that as he was being destroyed, in his last moments, he gave a little farewell.

Would you prefer a traditional thumbs up hand (so he could hold it straight ahead), or one sculpted like the above pic, where he would have to raise his hand straight up in the air? Not sure the jacket would make the latter easy.

I'd want the gloved, Endo showing hand like the steel pit. Even if you couldn't nicely elevate his arm like that, it's still the moment that sticks out the most with me and I'd want with the figure.

It is a very small and silly thing but cosidering they gave Bad MJ about 7 hands and some of them look practically the same they could spare a thumbs up. With the amount of accessories that the BD will come with I doubt it though. All the MJ hands are clearly there to pad out his accessories which are on the slim side.

There's always the chance of fandom playing a factor, I'd imagine they're into all the stuff they make but from that interview with Yulli, T2 seems a dream project, at least for her.

I find it strange that a girl would be so into Terminator. Its really a male fantasy thing. Cyborgs, big muscled action men, protecting fragile women (in the first film anyway), cool special effects etc etc

One thing I've learned in this hobby is that you can never tell just what sort of person will be into what. I have a female friend, she's not a collector, but she's into the Terminator films, was anticipating Salvation when the rumors started flying of it being made, and I never would have expected her to be into them.

Is it really that strange? The WWE stands are full of them for that same reason. :lol

And really, Arnie's the only muscle man in Terminator, Bieh, Patrick, even Worthington and Bale aren't particular buff and even so, you never see them much to notice if they were.

Really? But what are they getting out of it? I thought women only looked at muscle men from the point of view of finding them attractive...but I certainly don't recall Schwarzennegger ever making it onto a 'worlds hottest men' list!
