Just because Yulli digs T2 and Arnie movies doesn't mean it has anything to do with physical attraction, it could just as easily be for the same reasons male fans like his movies, entertainment. Whatever her reasons, I'm glad a movie that means something to me also means a lot to someone so influential at Hot Toys. That's my glint of hope for a John Connor, maybe fandom will be strong enough to get them to take a chance.

No no the face is important. And as regards the body there are certain extremes of muscle that many women find unnattractive. And definitely at some points in his career Arnie would have fallen into that category.

While NECA isn't even doing Sarah, McFarlane made her, Sideshow mader her, Hot Toys is making her, I just find it dissappointing that none of these lines ever make the character that's a focal point of the plot of the movie. To my knowledge, Kenner is the only company that's ever made young John, albeit he seemed to be low produced and rare, they did it, and actual rereleased him to, so they put him out twice.
Have we ever had a poll on young John Connor? For all the use it would be.
No, and for that reason, even if there was a lot of support for it, we're too small a percentage of collectors here to really matter what we want, and odds are it'd be a thread of people just bashing his whining and voice cracks and the inclusion of a 10 year old in a Terminator movie. I think a thread for that would do more harm than good and isn't worth starting.
We'd probably end up disheartened at all the 'Nos'.
Yeah its a pity he's so unlikely to be made by either HT or NECA. The latter are quite possibly done with T2 with the next series. Sarah Connor, particularly the pony-tail version HT are making, is kinda going to be an odd one out if they don't also make John.

John's absence in the HT line will be felt more than the NECA line. If HT were like NECA and just doing T-800 and T-1000, I'd think of John like, oh well, they didn't do Sarah either, but like Sideshow, to do Sarah in addition to the Terminators and not do John just feels like quitting a race at the last minute instead of finishing it.

I consider myself a pretty big T2 fan and I am not even sure if I would buy a young John. The only circumstances where I would be if the accessories absolutely rocked...And they could, it could include the endo arm in display, the bank hacking machine, knapsack filled with ammo....
Sound logic. Although as it happens in my particular case a NECA john connor would be more useful to me to go with the multitude of T-800s I bought for various looks and poses. I would buy multiple NECA johns. For HT I would probably buy 2 at most depending on how much you could change his look/accessories etc.
Well, I'm sure a John figure would come with everything pertinent he used and came in contact with, it's not much and without it, he'd just be a clothed figure that costs a lot. The only questionable item for him would be his bike, simpler than a Fatboy, but still probably to complex to bother making.

Yea...I would personally think the bike is a bit of a reach...That could possibly turn a $120 fig (reasonable) to $190 (possibly still reasonable, but allot of coin to dedicate to this figure).
While I'd feel the price difference having the bike included would probably be a reasonable one, I would think for a lot of collectors, getting John with a bike and no Fatboy for T-800 would sour them.
I think they should make a John and Ginger Mullet kid 2-pack.
