Care needs to be taken with a $150 figure. Just cause its expensive, doen't mean it's unbreakable. You want unbreakable, buy some $20 Hasbro HOF figures.

Agreed. The price is all the more reason to treat these figures with kid gloves. I would be devastated if I had a major break just because each one these figures has put me closer and closer to being flat broke. Can't afford breaks. :lol

The only issue I've had with my last few hot toys figures are the hands being too tight to remove and the little peg snapping. I broke one peg from Blade, Dx Bats, Godfather and as of last night the T-800. I'm glad HT packs in 2 extra. What I do now is take a knife and shave a little plastic from around the holes widening them. Hands come on and off just fine after that.

Yeah, Maul's pics are incredible (i'm sure he never get's tired of hearing that) and they make me think there is no point in taking pictures of my own figure. I don't mean that in a negative way, I really like being saved the trouble. I probably will snap a few anyway. Hot Toys really ought to employ you, man. I think you've probably made them a lot of money. There have been figures I was on the fence with and your photos sealed the deal for me. :lol

I'm sure you've answered this before but what do you use in the backgrounds of your shots Maulfan to block out the real world your figure inhabits? I hate my own photos for this reason.

Depends on where I'm shooting, sometimes it's my computer monitor turned off, sometimes it's an 8.5 x 11 piece of construction paper, a lot of times it's an 18 x 24 piece of grey paper bought at an art store.

I agree...hopefully they can still fullfill all the orders that were placed before the status turned to "preorder - sold out"

Oh Man, I cannot even begin to describe the world of grief and suffering I will be in if, having pre-ordered early April, this holiest-of-holies is not available.

Anyone know if BBTS prioritise pre-orders according to date?

Ah. I might take a trip to the stationary shop the coming week to see if I can find something. I really want to be able to take decent pics with no bedroom wall or carpet or anything else visible from the real 1:1 world.

In your indoor photos I'm sure you use different ways of getting specific lighting close-up to the figures but are any of your pics taken while the room you're in is fully lit by artificial light or would that throw the whole thing off?

Well just so you know, the 8 shots I just posted last were a combination of tungsten lighting in the center of my room in the ceiling and glow off my computer.

Great pics bud. Still waiting for daylight motorcycle pics though. :tap

Me too.

Unfortunately, due to my schedule and weather here, this and the few shots yesterday are all I could get this weekend with daylight, kind of annoyed as I was really hoping to get a lot, I really prefer natural light whenever possible.

Nature wasn't on my side this weekend, unfortunately overcast/rainy daylight isn't very good, it might as well be dark. Believe me, as soon as I can get daylight I'm doing it, I actually got pissed about the sun today, it came out just around sunset but clouds kept moving in so as soon as I set the shot it was gone, the one photo a few pages back was all I could get, annoying.
