Of course, I'm a Terminator....wait, I mean of course, I was just waiting to get my figure, now, just waiting for more T2 figures to elaborate on it, not that T-800 isn't worthy of all the spots, but, more looks would add some flavor to it.

So if we leave the glasses on for too long paint will rub off? That's just great! Are there any pics of this happening to the blade figure?

Not necessarily, Blade could be an isolated incident, Blade's shades might hold around the head tighter. Just because some people found it happening with their Blade figures doesn't mean we should panic that it's an ongoing problem with HT sunglasses or anything. It's reason to keep an eye on things, but without every figure demonstrating it, there's a lot of room for reasons why it happens they may have no bearing on things. If Blade's glasses were made differently or sit on the head differently, that could play into why the rub off happens.

I think every figure has problems that come up from time to time. A lot of people experience cracking on the rubber Alien bodies, but I haven't had that experience so far. I also have both Wesker figures and they don't seem to have sunglass paint problems.

I would assume all product experiences defects every now and then. Its only normal when partially made in factories.

That's why it's best to stay calm with such reports and just pay attention for tips or clues as to why it happens and how to avoid it. Sometimes, things happen because of certain conditions specific to the person experiencing them and sometimes it's a production issue that'll spill over to everyone. I'd wager if the glasses thing were a major problem, you'd be hearing about it pretty heavily at this site, probably just a more isolated issue.

You know every time somebody on here has an issue it's going to be posted here, and people are going to freak out. It's like the law of gravity.

That has been one of the greatest things about viewing this site. I'm always slow on the purchases so all the negatives come out and then I know how to avoid them when I finally get my figures. So thanks guys!

Has anybody else received a pantless Martian Ambassador? I'm going to poke Hot Toys about this on facebook right now!

Or it could be somebody forcing it on... therefor scrapes... some people say they are not rough with these things but how does ones definition to gentle actually not be rough to you and me.

I remember somebody said they would no longer futz their figures because a belt snapped on them. To me for that to happen would require some force. I've never been able to do that. Then there's people with shaky hands...

Yeah, it's like the reports of people having breaks with the Endo fingers on this figure, while it is a fragile design, at least with my two, it seems like if you're careful enough, it should be a non issue.

That's the problem with some reports of breaks and things, some people just like to post the problem but never share any factors that could have played into it, or in some cases, describe things but it's hard to know just what they mean, like you say, one person's definition of handling something roughly may seem gentle to another person.

It's the same for me when I read posts about people busting wrist pegs.

Care needs to be taken with a $150 figure. Just cause its expensive, doen't mean it's unbreakable. You want unbreakable, buy some $20 Hasbro HOF figures.

That's where NECA comes in. ;)

Disclaimer: I don't mean this negatively but being practical. I'd rather myself or my kids break a $30 NECA T-800 than bust the $$$ HT one.
