Although I don't really like the way they went with the franchise compared to the games this figure does look pretty good. I think we should have gotten a stars and re3 Jill first but oh well still a nice figure

The games ended up sucking too. They aren't even about zombies or Umbrella anymore. Kinda sad...

That is true. Of all the games from the series I keep going back to the GC remake and RE2 on Psx.
Would be cool to get some zombies/monsters from the games a tyrant with stasis tube would be awesome. So would a lab zombie and a Forrest zombie.

Although they did move away from zombies the games are still enjoyable. But I'm a fan of nostalgia lol.
Still would have been cooler to see a game version of the resident evil movies. But the franchise us doing well, I've still watched them even though it's not what I would like to see, so you can't argue with that.

I just want a Jill stars version lol

They only have the license for Alice from the movies.

Capcom is smart, the games are not selling so much like did in the past, so they use the movie franchise to promote more and more the brand Resident Evil. Like I say, it's just business, just money, to Paul and to Capcom. Reboot both the games series and film series? Or end the series....? :|

I felt the same way. I've been playing them since RE on psx, it was the first game I bought when I got my psx.
I didn't get into the ps2 games.
I didnt think much of the controls either in 4 and 5 and the fact there was no zombies but after playing 4 it started to grow on me. They are enjoyable but there not the same anymore

It's funny back when I heard RE4 wasn't gonna have zombies and the fact at the time I thought it was gonna be a GC exclusive, I was like meh. I didn't even give it a chance till it came out for PS2 and at first I didn't think much of the controls as I thought it would take away from the creepyness (and it does to an extent) but once I got into the village and heard that chainsaw rev up and saw myself being surrounded by crazed towns people I was hooked and RE4 became my fave in the series.

I just don't know. I've been looking forward to this since last year when the HotToys president said that Milla was approving her character to be made at last... But this would be my first $150 figure; I've only bought action figures before, and have groused plenty that they're $20 now instead of $10 like they were when I was younger.

To buy a figure for $150 is just tough to justify. I'm trying to justify it in my mind as art... But I could buy a limited edition giclée print from a favorite artist for only twice that, and yet it (a painting) would have wider appeal as a decoration than this figure, which probably will be one that only I and a couple other people will recognize...

And if Sideshow makes the clones, I'd need two of those to flank her!

How many hours or days do these pre-orders tend to remain around before everything is bought up?

Buy what you like.

If you like high end action figures, get her. If you like paintings more, get that instead.

Preorder will prolly remail open for a while till she ships, about a 6 months window for her I would believe.
