Even to a guy like me, that's cold, Rory!

:lol

Well, he certainly was more iconic as a dead man. Who knows what kind of uncool **** he will get up to now that he's no longer dead. Damn it, he's dead to me. I'm going to cut the tip off one of Loki's magic sticks and super glue it to his chest.. (and then photoshop it out for the UK version)..

It's almost embarrassing to see how they made Loki's costume...
Those gold ***** around the edges... It's supposed to look like a zip edge/ Not like he made it from a ten metre long dog tag chain...

...aah stop whining bout Loki's curtain chain rim. It's an incredible achievement in 1/6th tailoring overall.

:lol

haters gonna hate. i just noticed...the spell check didn't underline 'gonna'. correct usage and grammer would be 'going to'. has slack jawed slang replaced the king's english even in our spell checkers?

I think I asked this in the wrong section

Does he come with a holster for his pistol?

Okay I caved and preordered this guy. I'm tempted to buy anther to display in the box as well as buy another Loki while I can....but I still gotta pre order a Hulk and IM3 Tony Stark. Gahhh. Money trees could not be any more handy.

You thought Coulson was dead?

He was was still at clearance level 6 ... recently upgraded to level 7...

I must have been the only person who never thought for one second that Coulson was dead...
I can't believe that the reveal of him being alive is such an "OMG! I *never* saw this coming!!!!" moment for anyone, lol.
He's one of the coolest characters in the franchise.

It's funny, I've seen The Avengers about 20 times between the theater and at home. And although there's always been speculation that Coulson was not dead, it's only been recently that it was confirmed 100%.

Watched it again today, for the first time since knowing for sure that he's not dead. When I saw the scene where Agent Hill confronts Fury about the Cap A cards being in his locker, and Fury saying "they needed a push"....I just viewed that whole interaction differently.

Before, I viewed it as Fury was using Coulson's death to motivate and pull the team together. Today it was more like Fury is deceiving the team and lying to them to bring the team together.

I wonder if anyone else felt the same way.

It was implied that without coulsons death they wouldn't have had the motivation to go and bring the fight to Loki.
And the fact that Fury had gone to coulsons locker to get the cards and cover them in blood put enough doubt in my mind that Coulson wasn't dead at all.

Oh for gods sake people, they killed Coulson off in the middle of the movie, it was a major plot point. There was nothing vague about it. Huge dagger through the chest and he sat dead with his eyes open whilst fury looked on, not running for a paramedic.

This is all post rationalisation because they decided they needed him for a spin off TV show. Nothing more.

It's comic book land, they can do what they want really, but rewatching the Avengers after the Shield TV show comes out with a living Coulson in it is going to be a more heartless experience.

His death gave The Avengers the emotional depth that it needed, unexpected and moving in the middle of an action fest. Personally as much as I love Coulson as a character, I think it's a big mistake.

But there is money to be made and money talks, they have already cashed up on The Avengers.
