I still haven't decided. It's nice, but not sure if it's nearly $300 bucks nice. I might use my points and get it for $80 bucks though... decisions, decisions.

Good point. I just always feel like I'll regret it once it's gone. Seeing the original Mech Test going for like $500+ is crazy to me. Although $300 is a heavy sum, I've been burned in the past by not just buying things up earlier, and having to pay secondary market prices... Also I can't see anything in the near future I want to get... yet

I think it'll be a nice piece to pick up if you can, but if you have other figures you're eyeing, save up those points!

I really hope to be able to snag a 2nd body at some point. I'd love to be able to use that body with my Avengers Tony bash. I'm not jumping in with both feet on the IM3 line like I did with all previous lines, but this is a good representation of the character from IM3.

I thought the Mark IV helmet was so you could pose it with Dummy.

This set doesn't come with dummy though. This set only comes with you.
It would be GREAT if HT think to include one BROKEN acetate with the HOA for replicating this scene...

Also, i'm astounded that, not only does this come with repulsor hands but, in between them making them for the MKVII and this, they have now made the repulsor hands with moveable fingers.

I really wish the 'Power Pose' Mark XVII was in the ground pound pose. I would've easily purchased that version for $150.

totally agree! Ground pose is something that can't be easily achieved whereas the power pose they gave us is nothing special really. I wouldve been all over it if it were a ground hitting pose. Maybe have two heads, one looking down and one up or something.

I think the Power Pose in one static look is a waste of time and resources for HT.
Leave the statues to Sideshow.
HT should just be making poseable figures.

So hard to decide between this and The Mechanic.. I go of a "1 version per character" rule so getting both is not an option :/ Which one do you guys think represents IM3 Tony Stark best?

Edit: He will also be displayed in a detolf, sort of important information since this means I will be unable to display this entire set :/ Will the round base fit in a detolf?
